It really says something about the state of your team and season when you need a 3rd period comeback against Jordan f**king Binnington and a team that has given up 4 goals in 6 straight games to save your coaches job, but here we are.

I'm convinced if not for that 3rd period, that might've sealed Gallants fate, whether it had been prior to thw Vegas, Colorado, Toronto, NJ gauntlet, during or after it. This would have been the game that sealed his fate.

For the love of god, keep Laf and Kakko with Mika. Just keep the lines.

Kakko is so snakebitten, its literally impossible for it to remain that way if you don't demote and punish him for being snakebitten.

Even if his chances aren't going in, they are builiding momentum and energy, and hes still creating chances for others as well with his strong play. And eventually his HAVE to start going in. With the amount and quality he gets, theres no way it doesn't change.

As for Laf, maybe this is the way to keep him on LW and get him going points wise with more ice.

Trouba wanted Copp back and is pissed at Drury is who he was referring to.
Trouba expected a few of those guys back.

Trouba thinks Panarin - Ziba are soft frauds and Kreider is shielding them.

This is bullshit, at least when it comes to Zibanejad. He’s a soft spoken guy but he very clearly cares. He looks like he wants to cry after every loss. I’ve never gotten selfish player vibes from him even a little bit.

Kakko is always doing something that helps offensively when he’s playing with other skill players. It doesnt always wind up with him getting a goal or an assist, but he plays his ass off and create chances for others.

I HOPE this is what we see next game. Think its more likely that Vesey is 3RW with kreids and Goody while Gauthier stays 4RW. really its a minor move but Vesey seems like hes in top 9 to stay and Gauthier brings much needed speed to 4th line, although he likely deserves the 3rd line chance.
What I'd love to see is Kreider-Chytil-Gauthier once Fil is back with Blais-Goody-Vesey.

This win changes nothing. They took multiple stupid penalties, looked dead at times, and were abysmal in their own zone the first 2 periods. Simply dreadful. If they don't clean that up they are going nowhere and with this coach I don't see them cleaning that up.
