But that's because he's not even a first line player. 53 points with 3:42 of powerplay time per game Drouin though? That's a win now move.

Comparing a 21 years old's potential with a 31 years old's? Bright. Clever. I don't know who I'd bet money on to improve the most...

Will Sergachev play 40 games (2nd round pick at stake)?

Just looking at Tampa's D at the moment and it looks like their top 4D is set with Hedman, Stralman, Coburn, Girardi. Then they have Sustr, and Koekkoek.

Is Sergachev making the team and playing 40 games? Who's gets the capitals 2nd round pick?

Doubtful that he plays 40 games. Tampa has 7D pencilled in already

This is the type of thread that happens when you thank Shattenkirk in another thread, for not signing with Tampa. :sarcasm:

Sorry... I really didn't understand the point.

I made a benign joke about the origin of this thread. I didn't mean anything negative or insulting by it.

Actually, it shows that I have been paying attention to your posts in other threads. ;)

Another thought is if Tampa gets the Capitals 2nd round pick in 2018, this might sway the trade in their favor. A lot at stake with how many games Sergachev plays and if Tampa needs him on the roster or not?

If he does, it's because :

He improved significantly
Or
Tampa is significantly worse than expected.
