Waiting for a med assessment makes sense, probably waiting to talk to refs and players invloved. maybe medical assessment.

Seriously? Modesty? You ever see Marner and some of the Leafs goal celebrations? Its an example of 1 of the better aspects of hockey culture. Modesty and a core tenant of respect is huge.
Its mainly the fact we have a cpl generations that don't understand consequences.
I am surprised there are not more people sharing my position.
Should Rielly have done something??? YES!!
Should he have crosschecked him in the head?? NO!!!
10 would be fine.Time to speculate.lol
Perron got 6.. Hunter got 21. Crosschecking a guy in the head after scoring a goal is 2 no - no's.
I say 6 games like Perron and an in person hearing.
I'd make it 10 personally. He should've slashed his shins and said 'let's go' and then thrown multiple punches. That would've been a penalty and all the debate would be about taking slappers on empty nets.lol
What's this obsession with "more", who cares? Rielly will probably get suspended, the unsportsmanlike d-bag won't so that should satisfy your obsession. What more do you want?Yes, I get what they're saying. But how's that more unsportsmanlike than illegally crosschecking someone in the face after the play is over?
we are pretty much on the same page, but I say 5.Time to speculate.lol

Zero chance he thought he was getting cross checked to the face, especially by a historically clean player.
You sound triggered
Settl down there hair dooI'm sorry that I gave you the impression that I think Greig did anything wrong. I'm not a hockey snowflake and can sure take a slapshot into an open net without throwing a fit.
And this got 1 gameTime to speculate.lol

LOL, yet another genius who doesn't understand the difference between celebrating a goal (which happens after almost every goal that's ever been scored in NHL history) and unsportsmanlike conduct. Holy smokes are you guys ever amusing!Seriously? Modesty? You ever see Marner and some of the Leafs goal celebrations?
Far from modest. Don't see the other team crosschecking them from behind each time.
Ridiculous comment.
Neutral Fan here..................Morgan Reilly is a great Dman, and very well respected.....Calling Rielly scum is idiotic. He has no prior of this kind of thing and I’d bet we don’t see anything like it again from him.
While this ended up being bad and is suspension worthy I would be utterly shocked if he had gone in intending to crosscheck him in the head. Doesn’t change the result at all, he was mad and reckless, but that’s not Morgan Rielly.
Back at ya.100%, be good to have you guys earning to your full potential
but until then f*** you lol

LOL, you really have to ask? He should have been penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct, how is that not obvious?Lol. What rule did he break?
Shouldn't matter the historyNot that I don’t think Rielly deserves a suspension, he does, but is there any precedence for a player with no DoPS history getting > 5 games as their first and only suspension?
Let’s not get overly dramatic and try to embellish the hit.
He didn’t get “cross checked to the face” - - it was a shove to the side of his helmet/visor.
If it had been an actual “cross checked to the face” Greig would have lying in a pool of blood with some missing feet and likely a fracture or two in his face.
Maybe soccer is a more appropriate sport for you to watch.
Not even comparable. The crosscheck was terrible.Yes, I get what they're saying. But how's that more unsportsmanlike than illegally crosschecking someone in the face after the play is over?
