It’s almost like Parros played for the Habs and uses bias in his disciplines.

Let’s not forget the Leafs are the only team where Bettman had to step in and reduce Parros’ ridiculous punishments.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bettman have to do it again for Rielly.
world against the leafs nation....

If you think he was just scoring a goal then right there is problem number 1. Any NHL Player would tell you he wasn't just scoring a goal, which is exactly why so many Ex nhl players were ok with Reilly showing a reaction, he just went overboard with the reaction
We had a 50 year old in net the other night on short notice at my game cuz our tender blew out his shoulder. He sucked ass. Other team beat us 7-1 and were celebrating hard and screaming even on the 7th goal. So far worse than what Greig did.

You know what me and my teammates did? Nothing, other than calling them chumps for rubbing it in.

Reilly lost his composure and nothing else is relevant.

My favorite part is at the end when Matthews gives a shot to the Sens player Tavares is holding lol. Never change AM34

At least Reilly didn't hide behind his team after cross checking Greig

Parros still upset because Colton Orr knocked him out

I don’t understand why they can’t have a team of discipliners instead of one guy. It’s used in every other field of law to prevent bias.

I dunno. Your beer league exploits are pretty darned relevant, I'll give you that.

Look at the play… this was in a heated battle.

Reilly is in a different situation. He has time to think.

Premeditated dangerous hit to the head.

6-10 games
I think that's a pretty loose use of premeditation, mainly with how much conviction you have in repeating it. Bad play, bad hit. I think he gets 6.

So they need special treatment because they are too fragile to handle repercussions? Makes sense, they need it.

Why would they need special treatment?

If Parros makes a fair sentence he won’t have to be overruled by his boss.

The same way it works in every other job. If you don’t do your job properly the boss has to step in to rectify it. It’s called accountability.

Morgan Rielly would 100 percent deserve to be arrested for assault if he did this in any other context.

He also probably would be facing legal problems if this had resulted in serious injury to the player.

Some folks really don't realize how bad what he did was.
So would boxers be arrested, so would martial arts be arrested, so would football players who fight get arrested, so would UFC fighters get arrested.

Not a good take.
