I think this just enhances that what Reilly did is absolute dumb as f***.I'm sure he loves being possibly concussed, a dream come true.

I can't tell if you're joking or not. Please confirm.
More than at least 20 different Leafs fans and a handful of non Leafs fans. Probably more tbh.Haven’t read this thread but is there anyone that thinks what Reilly did was ok? Because it wasn’t.
Why should he have to fight?
He's there to play hockey, not get punched in the face
Why? Because you don't like the method in which he scored?nah, he should have gotten punched in the face there honestly.
Yup. Leafs are known for being soft and not standing up for themselves. It clearly got to Rielly, and his team got embarrassed and he thought it would be tough to cross check a dude rather than try and fight him. And now he’s going to be sitting things out for a while, nobody thinks he or the Leafs are any tougher than they were, and they’re a joke once again. Rinse. Repeat. It’s speaks to the Leaf’s players entitlement. No other team in this league would think that a slightly embarrassing slap shot into an empty net warranted this kind of response
Hahahaha no, such a dumb take. Youre reaching hard to justify this. He scored the goal and was skating back to the bench on a pretty normal play and wasnt "turned away". He was skating forward. If Reilly went over there and had words he wasnt going to not look over and face up, but he obviously didnt get the chance with Reilly leading with his stick straight to the neck unnannounced instead.Nah everything about his actions showed he wanted no part of fighting. Completely turned his back and skated away. It's the typical reaction in todays game anyway, just a change in the game I don't support. There was a time teams would enforce the rules themselves, hence the term enforcer.
You're not wrong, but it's kind of a funny double edged sword. I wish the Sens doing bad made me more content with how frustratingly bad the Leafs are, the way the Leafs doing bad does for some Sens fans.Morgan Reilly was extra frustrated because he knows he’s playing for a go nowhere franchise and his dreams will never come true -
It didn't the below. Why should he expect anything based on this...
Nah, it only shows how easy it is to rattle the Leafs.nah it more highlights how the younger generation plays the game honestly. The game has just changed and I believe he thought he was just going to snicker to himself and get away with it.
He let go of his stick, the principal point was shoulder.say it with me: you are responsible for your stick at all times.
If you hit a guy in the head because a cross check you initiated didn't go the way you planned it that's still your fault.
If you think he was just scoring a goal then right there is problem number 1. Any NHL Player would tell you he wasn't just scoring a goal, which is exactly why so many Ex nhl players were ok with Reilly showing a reaction, he just went overboard with the reactionHahahaha no, such a dumb take. You know what they say. When you cant beat em on the scoreboard, try to injure them.
So 10 games? It’s almost like Parros played for the Habs and uses bias in his disciplines.
Let’s not forget the Leafs are the only team where Bettman had to step in and reduce Parros’ ridiculous punishments.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bettman have to do it again for Rielly.
You do see the irony in a Leafs fan chirping another fan base about playoff success right? Thanks bub. When you have to go back to 7 years to the last time they made the playoffs it proves my point bub.
He absolutely did and saying that just admits that it is what he was trying to do.Nah, it only shows how easy it is to rattle the Leafs.
They had to sign a washed up goon to “deal” with getting pushed around on a regular basis, and they still don’t play with any balls.
If I’m a rival team pushing for the wildcard spot, I’m taking note how easy it is to get in Leaf players heads.
Grieg got Reilly right in the mind.
Perron's suspension set the precedent. Rielly will see the same consequence and not because Parros hates the Leafs but because Rielly did something stupid and is facing the consequences of his actions. It’s almost like Parros played for the Habs and uses bias in his disciplines.

I'm not even a Leafs fan but they have been far more successful than the Sens in recent years. Like not even close. You do see the irony in a Leafs fan chirping another fan base about playoff success right?
