Dumb ass take more like it. Hahahaha ya okay. It was a nothing play. Shall we stick smash Marner as he Theo Fleury's across the ice after each goal?He knew what his dumb ass was doing when he took the slap shot, expect retaliation.
I forgot about that one lol Good example of other teams getting the benefit of the doubt. Only 1 game for that.
You mean scoring an empty net goal?He knew what his dumb ass was doing when he took the slap shot, expect retaliation.
LOL. I'll let you live in your delusion, sir. Sen fans need these little victories!
I have absolutely no problem with the length of suspensions Leafs players get from Parros, if only it applied to rest of the league. It will be a full force suspension. No one is going to look over a premeditated cross check to the head. The NHL is not going to have any leniency for this one. Regardless if it their heralded Maple Leafs.
I figure 6-10 games.
There is not even a chance the Leafs management brings up "but he slapped the puck into an empty net" in the hearing. That would be farcical.
This was a bad hit. Not what the modern NHL is going to tread lightly over.
In fact, Keefe will be given a talking to as well.
They are assigned opinions they have to try and defend to spice up "conversation" on air, and to get people who don't know better riled up. It clearly works. They don't have the talking heads on their side ruining the broadcasts. What we saw on Sportsnet and TSN last night was shameful.
Imagine having this opinion... Just listen to like the first 30 seconds. Cross check immediately excused, followed by the BIG NO NO by Greig. Hahaha ya okay then, give me a break.

well we're tied with you, (yes you have a game in hand), and we sure as hell are in a battle to make it, so what makes you think you aren't?We are?
It will be six; same as Perron.Yeah it was just some confusion, it doesn’t mean he will automatically get over 5 , it just means the in-person hearing will give them that option if needed.
found it. kulikov got 4 games.Don't recall the player name, was a recognizable vet and happened many years ago. Received a 4 game suspension after a in-person hearing IIRC.
Small price to pay.If the Leafs disappeared, so would most of this forum.
I agree with this.. the in person hearing means he is probably getting something but it doesn't guarantee 6. He could get 2, 3 or 4 as well.It is the same.
But notice I wrote "could end up with 6 or more".
Meaning Rielly can end up with 5 games or 0 games.
From my understanding, an in-person hearing is mandated if the player called to the hearing COULD end up with 6 games or more. But 6 isn't the minimum.
It will be six; same as Perron.
From their perspective you don't take a slapshot into an empty net. You tap it in and don't show up the other team.
Personally i think Leaf fans are spewing this is finally somebody showed some emotion for once
Good luck with your playoff push.well we're tied with you, (yes you have a game in hand), and we sure as hell are in a battle to make it, so what makes you think you aren't?
you are telling me someone takes a slap shot on an empty net goal and doesn't expect anything to come from it? Get real, it was completely unnecessary. Yes the cross check should have been lower, but Toronto had every right to be upset by it.You mean scoring an empty net goal?
Why should you expect retaliation for scoring an empty net goal.
MLSE should buy him dinner more often.I have absolutely no problem with the length of suspensions Leafs players get from Parros, if only it applied to rest of the league.
Parros has never, and will never, miss an opportunity to punish the Leafs to the full extent of his power, because of that stupid fight with Orr.
However, he doesn't apply the same standard to the other NHL teams. That's what gets me.
Bunting done. Kadri x 2 done. Matthews done. Spezza done. Engvall, Polak, Simmonds, Clifford, Hyman, Kerfoot. The list goes on.
Every playoffs the Leafs just get a guy out for most of the series.
And then you look around the league at some of the shit happening in other games and it's like WTF are we doing here?
and Pietrangelo's was a hockey play? Lumber jack axe chop to the arm?In what world would benefit of the doubt came in? This wasn't remotely anywhere near a hockey play. It was assault disguised as hockey. Full stop.
