Moose tie it up with a minute and a half to go.

Admirals go ahead with 46 seconds to go...

Moose don't have any clue what they are doing in the defensive zone. They are as bad as the Jets.

Also way too reliant on defensemen to generate offense, alot of slow unskilled forwards.

This is quickly looking like a bust.

Even if they pull off the miracle comeback, they are not long for the playoffs. Their lack of offensive skill is being exposed.

As I was watching the game I thought the same thing. You can certainly tell they are the Jets farm team. Yikes, this organization has a way of making other teams backup goalie look like a Vezina candidate. We may have 40+ shots this game but only one or 2 actual good quality chances. Meanwhile Milwalkie has like 9 shots but in those shots they had at least 5 good quality chances. This is classic Jets stuff.

I think the media has way oversold the Moose as being contenders.

I'm amazed that Torgersson kid hasn't got a shot yet. I'm looking at Austen Poganski, -10 since Mar. 23rd, and -2 so far these playoffs. The d-zone coverage look a lot like how the Jets break down man to man.

The Moose were a good team. Then they got a bunch of players back from the Jets, plus some Jets draft picks. As I say to my classical music loving wife...

If it ain't Baroque, don't fix it.

The moose guys are the problem. They work hard but they lack speed and skill. They generate a lot of shots but they have very few finishers. Barron might be the most dangerous scorer on the team right now.

No offence at all on this team and Berdin is cheeks. Won’t win when you can’t score and your goalie can’t make a save.

Those were 2 hard losses. I posted earlier that when I was at my last Moose game that I really liked the D, but there just wasn't an offensive skilled player. They do have a good roster of average offensive guys, and they just haven't had much puck luck in the last 2 games. It's why it's so disappointing that Perfetti wasn't allowed to join the Moose because of the injury / cutoff date.

Personally, I wouldn't count the Moose out of this series. I think they can still win the next 3 games.

My Shaw guide has Game 3 on TSN3 tonight.
Yep, they’re showing Game 3 on TSN3 (and on AHL TV). A shame the first two games weren’t on TSN since they’re on the road and I’m going to tonight’s game — although I did buy the AHL pass and the pricing was reasonable — just going to be a shame if I only end up using it for two games.

I always thought it was weird that so many IHL/AHL teams had games on TV but except for a handful of home games in the late 90s on CKY and a few in the mid 00s on Sportsnet, the Moose have almost never had games on broadcast TV. Usually the only ones available to us are the Leafs Nation Network games on TSN when the Moose play in Toronto. So I guess tonight is a bit of a rare treat.

That said, it sounds like the Moose have laid a bit of an egg so far in the first round. Can they pull off 3 in a row vs. Milwaukee?

Officials blew an icing call to give Milwaukee an offensive zone faceoff and they capitalize 21 seconds in. 1-0 Admirals
