Here was the GWG by Leivo which the Moose should have not allowed to happen:

That move by Leivo to go around Gawanke was just sick... I have good vision and my eyes still couldn't process it at full speed... it was like a magician's sleight of hand.

Berdin was clearly too stunned by what he just saw to make what would have been a fairly routine save

Only one goal for the Moose yesterday as they suffer the rare second straight game with a loss (just second time this season). They are back in action tnt to conclude 3 in 3.

Have we heard any news from the AHL in regards to scheduling?

Have we heard any news from the AHL in regards to scheduling?
From an ESPN article on December 28:
AHL president and CEO Scott Howson said shuffling the schedule for teams in Quebec and Manitoba is not feasible in the middle of the season, despite the possibility of games in empty arenas.

"We wouldn't consider a situation where we'd start putting those teams on the road and adjust the schedule," Howson told The AP by phone Tuesday. "They're going to play their schedule, and if they have to play a few games with 0% [capacity] then that's what they're going to do."
Having teams in Canada comes with the acknowledgement that it's more difficult for them to avoid lengthy absences.

"You're always subject to what the Canadian government's going to do, and you respect that and our Canadian teams know that," Howson said.

One option is having different testing and isolation requirements for the U.S. and Canada.
"There's arguments on both sides," Howson said. "You want the level playing field, but for us, the 26 teams that could have a less restrictive system, why should they be punished?"

Only got to catch the last 10 minutes, but the Moose just beat Texas (4-1 with 2 empty netters) while being down:

Berdin
Holm
Perfetti
Suess
Gustafsson
Chisholm
Gawanke
Reichel
Polei

and only dressing 17 skaters. I can't remember them getting outshot this season, though I'm sure it has happened, but they were understandably outshot heavily today.

As outlined above by Kyosama an improbable win given all the missing players.

1st goal:

2nd gwg by Malott:

Evan Cormier has made 86 stops on 90 shots in his three starts for the Moose. Here are some of his best from tnt:

Keep the new goalie in town, as a tandem goalie with Holm, and bring up Berdin to travel with the team for the next road trip.

Probably a good time to bring up Heinola too.

I think Zinger and the scouting team deserve some credit for finding a lot of under the radar talent, like Mallott, Cole Maier, etc.

Half watching Moose while working on something, man does Eyssimont's name just seem to be called a lot.

Heinola laid somebody out in the first couple minutes. I think he was as surprised as anyone.

This has been a violent game.
