He's going to camp? Thought he'd be released closer to Christmas.

Camp starts this Thursday and he seemed to indicate in his press conference that he would concentrate on the Moose this weekend and then on team Canada next week. So that is my basis for assuming he's going to be in camp.

Ah okay. I tried to watch that clip by my ADD kicked in. I really didn't get past his hairdo.

Yep, he'll be at the camp from Dec 9th - 12th, IIRC. Expected to be a lock for the team, but ya never know, I guess.

All good things must come to an end and that's what happened to the Moose four-game win streak which ended this evening in Laval.

Leon Gawanke stops one from going in:

Moose have the 2nd best PK in the AHL and it helps when you score shorthanded (proved to be the GWG) by hard-working Kristian Reichel:

Chalk up another win for the Moose as they sweep the weekend series with the Griffins and improve to 15-7-1 on the season (2nd in Central). They've won six of last seven Putting the Win in Winnipeg (9-2-0-0 at Canada Life).

Recap here.

Where can we see attendance numbers? I was at the game on Saturday and I would guess the crowd was under two thousand.

Averaging only around 3000 this year with one of the top teams in the A. Only 7 teams with worse attendance. Even the "desert belt" teams in Tucson and Henderson are out-drawing us. Shameful. Time to move the team so more people will go to the Ice games.

Went to 1 Moose game 3-4 years ago. Very disappointing experience. Not likely to ever go back.

The best experience I've had was Star Wars day in box seats (provided by my stock broker). My extended family filled the box and they had Gluten-free options for food - lots of fun. The people that just wanted to site and chat could do it by the tables, and a few of us actual hockey fans could sit in the front few rows and cheer.

I'm not sure I'd enjoy them that much without the box, but there's no way I'd buy them myself...

Tuned in for the final minute of the Moose game. They lost it with 1 second left. Gawanke got walked, Berdin let in a goal that shouldn't go in.

Moose look like they had two points in the standings bank and it appeared that they'd take a 2-0 series lead on the Wolves and close the gap in the Central Division race but really gave the game away after going up 3-1 and would ultimately lose 4-3 on last second goal.

Malott's 7th goal:

Kovacevic's 5th (career high, with unfortunate bounce off Manitoban Stelio Mattheos)

Here was the GWG by Leivo which the Moose should have not allowed to happen:
