Torn hammy for Cano.

All injuries blow but if there is one person that they could afford to miss it's Cano.

Even tho his bat recently started to show some life, guy is a total zero on the basepaths...his defense is atrocious.

I dunno man unless I'm missing something, seeing he really can't do anything else other than hit and he wasn't even that good at that, it's actually a net positive for Mets he's not on the field as now Calloway can adjust the batting order the proper way withought Cano killing rallies.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh...lol

The depth of the team is very poor at this point due to the injuries. Smith, Nimmo, Lowrie (he's playing golf with Elsbury), Cespedes, and now Cano. I know two of those guys never suited up, but they were supposed to this season.

Let's not forget Lowrie had 99 RBIs last season. He'd have eaten into Cano's time and who knows at that point.

At this rate, you're best bet is that Smith and Nimmo are back in September, with Lowrie shortly after (they said on radio today that he is hitting off a tee, 4 weeks minimum away)

Lockett doing his best to limit damage. Hopefully he can get out of the 5th giving up just 2 runs and than the bats come to life and we win this one late.

Tanaka's fastball is a meat pitch. No velocity or movement. Cashman better let him walk after next year. I don't think he has much left in the tank.

Of course Granderson hitting on the interstate rakes against the Mets.

I hear ya. Can't fall behind tho on counts with men on base. Grandy knew Gsellman was going to groove a fast ball and he was ready for it.

Still have time to win this thing....far from over.

Stranded Davis at second after a lead off double. That hurts.

Last pitch of the game was a 91 mph fastball, 2 inches south of the strike zone, absolutely crushed to center which Gardner barely caught, A ball that much out of the zone and still getting tagged is a red flag.

I'm very happy to have a guy like JD Davis here. I just wish he wasn't a DH on an NL team.

Was he the only thing Brodie did this winter that turned out positive? lol
