OT: MLB Thread XLII: OCTOBER

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Pulling for the Rays to upset the Astos and Yankees having home field throuhgout! At the very least the Rays get Cole out eraly and really work the Astros bullpen.

It really looks like Houston knows whats coming. Almost like they have the signs. They are squaring up balls, getting the barrel right to where its being thrown.

But Tampa was defending against stealing, changing up and using multiple signs with no one on.
 
We probably get Greinke in Game 1, which is LOL-worthy.

But the real question is...do they do Verlander dirty again for Game 2 and hope the same thing that happened in Game 4 vs the Flappy Boys doesn't happen again?
 
Greinke in game 1 and most likely Verlander in 2. Cole in 3.

Won't be easy but we can beat them. Yankees hitters grind out at bats and that's the best way to get to Cole and Verlander. Get their pitch counts up and make Houston use their pen.

IMO winner of NY/HOU goes on to win the whole thing.

Agreed on both points.get into their pen by the 6th or 7th inning and its a big advantage for us.
