Rough go there for Nido. Would not be surprised if he gets pulled from the game after going through more testing.

Have to get into their bullpen. Cannot let their starter bail out their weakness

Don't understand what the hesitation is in letting Rothschild go already... the evidence is mounting that it's him and not the pitchers.

I'm no Rothschild defender but is it really though? I mean what have a lot of people been complaining on here on the offensive side the last few years? Situational hitting, swinging for the fences, too many strikeouts. Hitting coach Marcus Thames was to blame! He needs to go. It's quiet on that front this year. Why? Because the Yanks went out and got the personnel or other players developed (Gio, DJ, Tauch, etc) to counter the homer happy tendencies.

If you man a starting rotation of aging vets and historically injured or inconsistent pitchers, then I can't be suprised when they perform poorly or inconsistently. I just think everyone will get there wish and Rothschild will be gone and we'll have to find another easy to point at reason for the Yankees starting rotation sucking again next year.

If Nido has to go on the concussion DL (which they probably should do regardless of severity), Rene Rivera is a good option as a 3rd catcher. He's caught everyone, except for Stroman, and was a calming influence behind the plate while on the Mets. Not the worst option

Agreed...not too worried tho. Ramos will be the guy 90% of the time.

On antother note, can't believe how well Folty has pitched tonight for the Braves as he's been so terrible thus far this year.

This unfortunatly for the Mets tonight is the Folty I owned last year in fantasy...he was very very good last year.

We are now into the Braves pen...so we gotta hope Lugo can hold the fort until the cavalry comes.

OK..Lugo did the job...held the fort...well done!

Our best hitters vs their sieve like pen...time to end this shit now!!

I don't want to see the top of the Braves order anymore tonight...let's do this

well if you aren't a fan of the nicknames...a white jersey with white letters so you can't read the names is one solution

Should have had this game in the bag already. DeGrom is going to retire with like 90 wins.

why would you bunt there when hamilton could steal second on the mets standing up?

Well that was a pretty damn big strikeout of Acuna there boys no matter how much you trash him.

If he gets out of this jam, it would be huge for his confidence...c'mon Diaz...let's do this bud

Very ready to watch Paxton blow yet another first inning and then go spotless in the following 5 or 6 innings.

Also, Players Weekend during a series vs the Dodgers...shame. Wasting a good jersey duel.

Besides fact this umpire's strike zone is in the twilight zone tonight, gotta give Lagares alot of credit there.

Horrible strike call against him but he beared down and still got a nice single to right. I tell ya, Lagares has all of a sudden gone from an automatic out to actually being somewhat decent since he's been given regular AB's.

C'mon Todfather...I stuck up for you yesterday and today against all opposition about you staying in starting lineup because you come thru in the clutch and you field well.

Well bud...prove me right...

defensive indifference is a stupid rule...the buffalo stole second. that they chose to not try to throw him out is there problem lol
