It would be peak hockey for the Panthers to lose in the 1st round as the President’s Trophy team, with Zito doing a similar or worse job to Fletcher going all in, only to beat the President’s Trophy team as the 8th seed the next year.

People were dancing on their graves, but their talent acquisition is just stupid good.

Some DHs right now

Color me surprised that the offensive, skilled team - without two of their best players - absolutely grilled the defensive grinders whose only prayer in that entire series was the out of the world play of their goalie for several games.

Let me help those without crystal balls here: that series is an exact replica of what Flyers playoff hockey looks like in a few years. Strap in.

That's a great question. I mean, cashing out $265 on a $1 bet is pretty damn great. It gives me more money to make the same type of dumb $1 bets in round 2. Would really hurt to cash out and it ends up hitting...

Cash out the $10 one. Then you get 10 more bets for next round. Remember if it doesn't hit, you're not losing $265. You only lost a dollar. Go for the gusto

Good luck!

I went to the casino once in my life. Cashed out being up 20$.

I’m low key disturbed you are even pondering this. Take the money fool.

what's $265 these days? one nice steak dinner with your wife or girlfriend?

no big loss.

All he needs is the Oilers to win tonight, the Devils to win tonight, (granted both on the road and with their opponents facing elimination), and Tampa to win tonight at home and then lose Game 7 in Toronto.

That's not an outrageous gambit for $4300.00.

And if it doesn't hit, he's only actually out a buck. I'd rather have the thrill.

But everyone's different.

Caveat:

This is coming from someone who blew $600 on the Flyers going over 78.5 points, and then Couturier and Atkinson both unexpectedly ended up missing the entire season (granted, only missed winning by 4 points, and I stand by the bet; would've had it if not for the injuries). And someone who blew $500 on a September futures Buffalo Bills bet to win the Super Bowl.

Three of their best players by the end.
