Knight took a leave of absence & joined the league’s assistance program. Bob has had an illness the last week or so. So they’ve had no choice but to rely on Lyon & so far he’s rewarded them.

I'm not sure it's a good idea to take a victory lap for a backup/third string goalie going on a short hot streak. This happens annually. Brian Boucher holds the shutout streak record in the modern era and suffice to say that didn't translate to anything more.

Lyon does suck, Bob is out and Knight is away from the team for personal reasons.

A five game sample size isn't a career, but good for him for pulling it together for at least a little bit.
