Those players are all 2021 picks. I would’ve taken Lysell/Zellwegger as my top forward or defenseman at the 13th overall they traded. And I would’ve taken Stankoven at 46 over Tuomaala. Hence the bitter taste.

I was really high on both in their draft years but I think Zellweger’s skating and pace give him the edge. They are pretty much the same age also. I think there is a chance Mintyukov has a touch more raw skill, but Zellweger is just a lot more proven. I don’t see anyway he’s not a top 4 defenseman, and a good one at that. For as high as the upside is for him, the floor is super high also. As I said, he can play in the NHL tomorrow. Fresh off his 19th birthday.

He has an argument to be the best u20 affiliated defenseman in the world.

Damn thanks for the insight. Gunna catch the ducks training camp and see them two! Sucks to see ducks have such quality youth when compared to flyers. Drysdale, Minty, zellweger plus their fwd group.

The application of the cap penalty to last year's salary cap is LOL funny. I can just envision the league office sitting around thinking about "how can we make a punishment that does absolutely nothing."

My wife got a text. Her cousin is interviewing for a nanny job and has passed thru the first 2 rounds of interviews. It pays $45 an hour, and is for 40 hours a week taking care of 2 kids. Today she was told it is for a high profile sports athlete that just recently moved to the area of Ottawa. No name has been given yet, but they think it's Giroux.

They messaged my wife because they know I am a Flyers fan. The only time I have watched the Flyers live was in Ottawa and we visited the wife's Aunt and family.
