I respectfully disagree. The home jersey they've been using for the last couple years was decent, but the OG is so much better. The warning flags on it pop so much better with the black and red, versus the red and slightly darker red on the more recent jersey. Plus, you have the silver stripes. Plenty of teams have black/white/red uniforms, but I can't think of another that added sparkly silver to that color combo.

Of course, I might be biased in their favor because it's the jersey they used when I watched them win the Cup in 06.

I don't know. For me the silver looks out of place. The current red jersey without the silver stripe looks more modern and still has a classic look.

They're actually switching to the blacks full time this year, with the classic as the alternate. Sounds like the current reds are being shelved. I'll have to see if I can grab one on sale.

Bad decision, imo. Black as the main color is boring. Sure, there are many teams in the league wearing red, but it's a popular color for a reason.

Haven't they primarily worn the blacks for a few years now? Especially in the playoffs.

I think the owner had some issue with the jerseys. Maybe the whites? Didn't want to wear white on the road.
