As for Attard a little time in the AHL will be fine. Be curious to see what his timeline will be to get called up.

Bringing back Braun was one of the few good moves Fletcher made this summer. He's the ideal partner for York.

Not if he struggles like he did last year.

More to the point, DH has been saying for ages now that coaches decide who get signed, especially name coaches, as a means of pretending Fletcher isn't responsible for all of his bad moves. So if that's true, why is Braun here?

Rogers Sportsnet is shutting down NHL Live in Canada for the 2022-23 season and pushing subscribers to SN NOW Premium instead.

“The NHL LIVE streaming service will no longer be available in Canada at the conclusion of this NHL season, but next season fans can use SN NOW to watch all the same out-of-market and national games,” Rogers Sports and Media spokesperson Jason Jackson confirmed in an email.

To get the full slate of out-of-market NHL games as they did with NHL Live, subscribers will have to pay for the Sportsnet Now Premium streaming service, which Rogers refers to as SN NOW Premium.

That will not happen anytime soon. That would be a major change in direction. What I wonder is what role if any Jason Smith will have in working with Attard.

In a perfect world Flyers suck badly the 1st 2 months. Attard gets a call up in December. Then let him play the rest of the way. Live and let him learn from whatever mistakes he makes. A forward thinking President/ GM would do this, not Chuck.

Watching hockey in Canada via a legal streaming service used to cost the cheap sum of $150 per year, which got us access to almost every game each season. Now it's going to be $250.

The NHL and Rogers can f*** themselves.

This will undoubtedly be the least amount of hockey I have ever watched in a calendar year, beginning in October 2022.
