I could get behind that. Foligno bumped down to nothing minutes and PK that is. My assumption was that Sunny is in Friday regardless... and he would definitely help... probably shouldn't assume though
Well, he played 27 seconds last night.

I mean, Sundqvist is a plodding bottom sixer who has scored 50 goals in 8 seasons. If we are relying on him to make a difference then we are truly lost, but at this point, i'm all for throwing things against the wall to see what sticks.

Lose reeves, bump Foligno off PP and to 4th line and add sunny
Kap /zucc/Boldy/mojo is doing zero.
Dallas is taking away time and space.
Wild had speed to pucks game 3 but that has evaporated.

Put sunny or sundquist net front on PP.
Bad spot for mojo.

I imagine flower will come in, everything else will stay the same.

PP/PK/FO not even close.

Once Wild got their dirty reputation intact, Dallas diving is just fun for them now.

Wild Composure zero. Dallas coach doesn’t yell at refs.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard “ shot missed the net”….realize shooting for corners.
Perhaps bounce off backboards or bounce off pads for rebound? No one has beat Otter straight on for two games now.

Despite all that

PK/PP/FO all need a coach.
Not sure who does that but their plan isn’t working clearly.

I think everyone knows Kap is not our MVP.

It’s Ek.

EK IS GFREAT at PP/PK/Blocked shots/defensive play/net front presence/and most of all COMPOSURE.

Ek is way more important to this team. Hell at this point just trade Kaprizov for an haul and get a real #1 C this off-season. (Pettersson?) Trade Zucc to free up cap space and bring back Nyquist.

Do nothing Deano at it again. If we lose next game there needs to be big changes.

Whoever is in charge of PK/PP should be escorted out of the building.

17 sec penalty kill????
That’s crazy.

Dallas doesn’t need to score 5v5.
Why waste energy?
Just wait for a Wild penalty.

Lost in all the crying about Foligno's penalty being a Major rather than a minor is that it wouldn't have mattered, score wise, as the Stars scored about 8 seconds in.

As to whether missing Foligno for the rest of the game mattered...:dunno:... he has a bad season, and is not an important player for this team, since the breakup of the GREEF line.

So , as I said in January. Would you rather have a top 10 pick or watch this trash every single f***ing year. Literally the same exact f***ing series played out the same exact way over and over and over and over. We won’t likely get an impact player at 23. We might have got one at 11.

The team is never going to tank...it's a non-starter.

It would still be pointless, because the impact players we do have aren't doing s#$. Yes, we need much better talent down the middle. But this is a special teams failure topped with a coach who never learns his lesson.

I kinda made that same post early on. Doesn’t matter if it a major or 2 minute, they scored right away. At least he wouldn’t be on the ice to give them another pp later so they could do it again.

It’s f***ing asinine that Johansson is leading the forwards in TOI on the PK. How the f*** has Dean not adjusted his PK units through 5 games when they’ve been f***ing awful since the start?

Dewar is this team’s best penalty killer. Stop playing Gaudreau and Johansson to start a PK. You’d think the 4 GA to 1 GA difference between the two would have had least made Evason consider changing his #1 PK unit before last nights game. He better make a f***ing change tomorrow after looking at this:

Has Evason got an extension recently because he should absolutely be gone after this series if they don’t pull this one off. I don’t give a shit if he’s capable of putting together a team that can over-perform in the regular season, he’s shown throughout his coaching career that he’s useless in a playoff series.

Evason signed an unspecified length multi-year extension midway through the 2021-22 season. Presumably he has at least one more year left, possibly more.

HAHA, holy shit! I had commented that Johansson is too weak on the puck for the PK. These stats really hammer it home. Take him off the PK. Take him off the PP too. Put Sundqvist in both of those spots.

Thanks for posting the stats! Good stuff
