On KFAN right now, Russo seems to think that part of the deal when Fleury came here last year is they basically assured him he'd get to play in the playoffs, and also seems to think that, even if Guerin didn't make this call over Evason's head, he was a part of the decision making process.
If true, for a guy whose entire motto is "it's about f***ing winning", it's a little weird how many hand shake deals he makes with his old buddies.

putting fleury in, zuc on top line, I'm starting to agree with you. Dallas is not really intimidated by the feeble attempts at the end of the game. So classless and embarassing. Score goals, win the game. I supppose that's all you know if you never had a wiff of success on an 80s expansion team?

Series tied 1-1, a lot of hockey to play yet, over all we had our big crapper of a game last night hopefully that's the only one of the series, we've seen how good these guys can be. We know they can come from behind we witnessed that many times firsthand so that is not a new concept. This is playoff hockey mistakes are not kind, we paid for everyone last night. It will be a new day tomorrow and last 2 games mean nothing. It's all in front of us.
I somewhat agree depending on Ek and Hartman. Although Gus can absolutely steal games….just not from the bench

Can we send crappie to iowa and get a legit back up from Iowa. Crappie just doesnt have it anymore. If Gus gets hurt Id rather give wallstad a shot.
Took a game in Dallas and hoping Deano got the last of Fluery out of his system based on the results. Hard not to be happy about that, compete level is there if we can eliminate the defensive lapses and stop taking stupid penalties we can take this series. More worried about the penalties that the defense.

I thought wed lose yesterday even with Gus in net, wasnt expecting Flower to start at all, that said you are right 7 goals and Dallas is feeling very good rolling into St Paul. Hopefully the crowd plays a factor in the games in St Paul.

Losing game two is one thing. Letting Dallas put an absolute beating on us and come away thinking they’re dominant is another.

Too expensive for my taste. Maybe in another 3-5 years I’ll go to another playoff game if we make it.
