Are you talking about Suter and Parise's buyouts? Because those end next year.
The big cap hits end after next season, but they will still carry $833k cap hit for each until 2029

Exactly. There was no guarantee that this group would have stayed in that rut the rest of the season with Evason. They could have very well worked their way out of a top 10 pick.Common sense lmao. Y’all are new to hockey if you think keeping Dean would guarantee us a top 5-10 pick.
Kap and Boldy were both injured early. The team’s record coincides more with Kap returning to normal than any other one factor.Exactly. True. Kap was still feeling that injury for a good part of the season, and I think he had lost some confidence as well. He looks more like himself now, and has been a huge factor in many of the wins.Kap and Boldy were both injured early. Agreed. Gus going from a Vezina candidate to sub -.900 SV % helps too.True. Kap was still feeling that injury for a good part of the season, and I think he had lost some confidence as well. He looks more like himself now, and has been a huge factor in many of the wins.
And MAF has been pretty steady the last month or so with last night being an exception. We can blame him for costing us a worse draft pick as well.Agreed. Gus going from a Vezina candidate to sub -.900 SV % helps too.
Stop bringing logic and reason as an opponent to gut feelingsAnd MAF has been pretty steady the last month or so with last night being an exception. We can blame him for costing us a worse draft pick as well.
Point is, Evason or Hynes....wouldn't matter.
Excessive bacon consumption can lead to heart conditions.Any news about Ek/Bacon?
Complete speculation is not logic and reason. There is a record to indicate Evason had lost the room and was failing. There is a coaching change by a GM to indicate he felt the same and change was needed. Had that change not been made there is a historical record to indicate that the team would not have made the drastic change it did from day 1 with Hynes. There are plenty of examples of honeymoon phases with the coaching change to give us some reasoning for that drastic change in performance.Stop bringing logic and reason as an opponent to gut feelings
Condiments to you, sir!If Hynes pulls the goalie in OT again this year, and the Wild win, can we call him The Catchup Man?
What does that even mean? He gave up 1 goal on 11 shots, which was substantially better than Fleury’s 5 goals against on 16 shots. We are effectively out of the playoff picture with the loss to the Kings and the win by VGK.
Gus showed us who he actually is.

Look at Evason’s first year coaching this team. Perfect example of how the team started poorly and then went on an absolute run. You just can’t face reality that our best players were injured early and we had to deal with that. Kaprizov wasn’t healthy. If you think he was, then I don’t know what to say. It was pretty obvious to anyone with knowledge of him as a player. Maybe you don’t have that. That would at least give an answer as to why you think the way you do.Complete speculation is not logic and reason. There is a record to indicate Evason had lost the room and was failing. Pathetic the mental gymnastics going on here to deflect front the fact that this squad was failing and we would have had a legitimate impact draft position instead of mushville where we find ourselves again

Like another poster has said, Arizona is your team. Their management does exactly what you call for. Have at it.
Here I was expecting an intelligent response. My mistake.Quit blubbering
