I'm just disappointed a a veteran as good as Zucc wasn't able to teach Jost how to play like a real professional. Makes you question if Zucc is the leader you think he is.

There's got to be a point in your life where you look inward and think, 'Y'know, outlandish conjecture just doesn't seem to be working for me. I should make it a point to stop doing it.'
Except Russo mentioned that Jost wasn't taking potshots at the Wild.

Russo wouldn't even be interested in this if Jost's comments couldn't be taken as criticism towards the Wild. But there are obviously different opinions.
The cherry picked BS isn't much different even with the added context. It's also nothing much different than what has been theorized on here. If it didn't ring true people wouldn't be getting butthurt about the cherry picked quotes.

It absolutely makes a difference. It was presented as Tyson Jost taking shots at the Wild organization and that's not what it is at all. No one is arguing whether things are tense right now or not.
The good Dr with his doctorly voice of reason. Thank you. Sit back. Cheer them when they win. Curse them out when they suck (and salivate over a decent draft pick).
@Wabit ... I've been scared to ask, but I need to. Is the 22/23 season your villain/heel arc? You're posts have been of a decidedly different flavor this year. I think we need to get you a Jimmy Hart or Bobby Heenan to amp it up, I love it.
There was nothing wrong with the actual quoted part in the first comment on it. There is nothing false or misleading about the team walking on eggshells after the start of the season.
I'm not sure how lots of line changes is a pot shot at all. It is also completely true. Only one line of FWDs on the team has more than 4 games together (natural stat trick).
Jost is happy to be gone. MN is happy he's gone. Unless it's slanderous, who cares what or how he said anything.
The biggest takeaway for me is Jost at least has a clue of what is wrong with the Wild this year. The coaching staff and leaders of the team have the same of: "I don't know what's wrong" and with a lost look on their faces; when they are asked.

As I said, the problem is the way it was presented by a known troll poster, not the quote itself. Not sure how to be any more clear. No one else seemed confused. No one is debating whether the team is walking on egg shells. Everyone knows the players are walking on egg shells. That's not what we're talking about. No one thinks what Jost said is taking shots at the Wild except the troll who originally posted it.
No. I've thought/said the GM is bad since the Spurgeon re-signing. I've thought/said Evason wasn't a good coach since the VAN playin series. I've said since the preseason Rossi doesn't belong in the NHL. Even last year I was saying that team was more lucky than good.
The team isn't winning, nor are they playing well. There simply isn't much positive things to say to offset any negativity ; that's really the only difference.

Wild.com stopped writing pregame articles (I'm salty about this). Russo hasn't had many interesting/info tweets at the time I make GDT. I have no clue on the daily lineups for MN, and it looks weird to me to have the opposing team lineup and not the Wild's. So mine have mostly been bare bones so everyone has a place to talk about the game before it starts.

While I think the quote was taken completely out of context, I do think there are some internal problems within this organization that have not been expressly addressed by Russo.

Jost, whatever he was as a player, was ALWAYS a class act off the ice. This was true in Colorado too. Poor represention of what he actually said. Somebody trying to fit a narrative.

Addison is probably due for a scratch. He's not good except on the PP, and the PP has gone dark.
Rossi (unless he's injured) needs to be playing, not sitting in the pressbox. They should have sent him down for the 3 games in 3 days Iowa had last weekend.
