What is happening? Haha.

Certain sacrifices were made/negotiated by the Detroit Sports Gods for sure.

My uncle has been a Lions season ticket holder for 25 years. The man doesn’t know how to work a smart phone to save his life.

He managed to FaceTime me and he’s absolutely fired up, as were all the fans who photo bombed his FaceTime. This guy has always been as dull and boring as my grandpa was. But to see him all smiles and laughing makes me understand just what the Lions fan base has gone through.

Happy for you guys. Keep it rollin

This is so emotional. I thought the Rams would beat us because they've Got McVay, Stafford wnd HOF Donald. But they managed it to win a playoff game. It's just an overwhelming feeling, can't find the right words to describe it.

Four guys from the '57 roster are still alive.

MC/DC > McVay. Not even close.

Stafford from the post-game presser. In a dirty Carhartt. Nothing screams "Detroit" more than a dirty Carhartt. The Rams were doomed from the moment Stafford put this on before leaving for the airport in LA.

Cowboys choke and the lions get another home playoff game out of it. Now they get to play either the eagles or bucs and neither team has been all that great lately. Kind of seems like this is the lions year

I'll be at the game tonight, got some dirt cheap tickets since there's a 50/50 chance it'll be a thunderstorm tonight.

Man... beating your old prodigal son returned home after he left to win a superbowl has to be the final step in breaking the curse of Bobby Layne.

Hutch might've played his best game of his career. I'm sure that meant a lot to Goff, the way Mckvay basically told him to go f*** himself then beat him like that with the fans chanting his name.

BradHolmes might be the best talent evaluator in the NFL though, the amount of absolute studs he has added in the draft is unreal. 4 or 5 pro bowlers in 3 drafts plus a bunch of other really good players. What a week for football around here, Philly or Tampa should be a good match up as well

49ers are really good, hopefully we can take care of them finally and have a NFC North NFC Championship like the last time the Packers won the Super Bowl :D

Goff is keeping the ball he kneeled for the rest of his life.

It's a strange and wide open year. At this point it wouldn't even shock me if Green Bay had another upset in them, and it's an NFC North rubber match with a Super Bowl appearance on the line.

But for now I'm just enjoying the hell out of this win, and looking forward to watching Eagles/Bucks purely as a scouting exercise. :D

This week has been a dream dude, can't totally even process it so I'm just spending all my free time re-watching highlights from the CFP and the Lions game as well as a ton of pressers and other content like that to soak it all in.

I know it feels distant, and it may very well be, but I seriously hope all of the diehard Wings fans and posters on this board get to climb the mountain again too.

Bucs fan (whose mother's side grew up on Harmon Rd before the Silverdome was constructed) popping in to say congrats to the Wolverines winning the Natty and to the Lions on their playoff win. I am so happy for all of you.

Just one blurb really: the pain and suffering ends. But yet as Stafford has yet another heartbreaker at Ford Field. Sports is freaking weird boys. There's no accounting for stuff like that. That level of irony is stuff you'd script and yet it happend anyway

Not looking past anyone, but Bucs at home is a great outcome for us all things considered.
Yep. Philly is a hot mess, but they definitely have a higher overall ceiling as an opponent.

It'll be interesting to see what balance each offense can run, since both Tampa and Detroit have a defense that is vastly better against the run than the pass.

Towards the end of the Bucs game, the crowd was chanting "we want Detroit", what a wild feeling.

NFC East has the power of the media to fuel the hype train but the division is trash. Done hearing about how other divisions are bad.

There was a few salty Tampa fans that were not happy Lions fans turned Raymond James into Ford Field South but generally cool people. Good on them embarrassing the Iggles.

The keyboard warriors online are nothing like the people at the stadiums. I've gone to a fistful of Bucs games the past couple years and always wear my Lions hat and when I go to the Bolts vs Wings game at Amelia, it's always light razzing (I go with my SO and she is geared up in Bolts attire, so that takes pressure of me and my Hronek jersey) and mutual respect.

Tampa Bay fans, in general, outside of a few keyboard warriors, are excellent fans.
