Without those horrible mistakes I think Lehterä has been decent in this tournament. What is bad is that he and Kontiola are the only players with good hands in this team. Maybe Palli Olola too

Those passes by Kontiola weren't as good as they looked first. There's been lots of poor quality passes from Finns throughout the tournament.

This game here is very important for our Finnish Lions. If win, we are most likely in the continue, if lose we are probably outside the continue. I like this game this far, the USA only scored because of luck. Most probably our Finnish Lions will score more and go to the play-offs!

Disagree re:Lehterä. True, in our team he is someone with actual skill but he's been completely ineffective, defensive mistakes...hate to say it but 1st line is almost all Kontiola. Lehterä has not lived up to expectations/1st line role at all. Bad news is we don't have anyone else to put there.

Tim Thomas is probably the only goalie in the tournament that Mäntylä can screen.

Why is Haula playing first PK?

Lehterä is a natural center which makes the transition hard for him, both he and Kontiola like to have the puck and have that pass first mentality.
Haula probably plays PK because he did it in Minnesota...
