You wouldn't review it because crease violation in international hockey can be called regardless of a puck going into the net. When the player enters the crease while his team is in the attacking zone, it can be blown dead immediately and the puck comes outside. It doesn't really matter where he was when the puck came on net or anything, he was in the crease before that.

I really hate that crease rule and the way it has been called in this tournament. But at least they have been more consistent with it, so as much I think that it should be 2-1, I have seen a lot of similar goals thrown out in the previous games.

It's just a bizarre, stupid and utterly baffling direction to go and I think it shows the incompetence of IIHF. Do we really want LESS scoring in hockey games? We should try to find ways to have more scoring, not less.

Please, some bigwig in hockey please read the bolded part! Scoring goals is exciting! 1-0 or 2-1 games are not exciting (most of the time).

I wonder about that rule though, I'm sure I've seen such really slight crease violations been passed by even in this tournament. Can't even be totally sure if it was a crease violation - and shouldn't there be some actual hindrance to the goalie which in this case there surely wasn't. Weird.
