Part of me wants to see Matthews in 1 fight. He is soo strong that he could prob take down at any time. I just don't know if he has fighting skills.
Same with Nylander, dude is in shape!!!! if he knows how to fight I bet he could surprise a cpl guys in his weight class.

Then you obviously dont pay any attention to the Leafs. Last year when noone stood up..it was old man spezza out there chucking the knucks. It was a tip of the hat to him.

I saw the game, I applauded Spezza, Leafs are my team, but I don't think him getting beat up is what will teach Tkachuk a lesson.

Ference on Grabovski was the last.

Clarkson was an auto 10 gamer (best thing he ever did in a Leafs jersey) but even if you remove that it's 45 to 1 in games suspended. Excluding Clarkson, the Leafs have accumulated 37 games of suspensions since the last time a player was suspended for an on-ice play against the Leafs
Actually Tkachuk got suspended 1 game for unsportsmanlike conduct during the 2017-18 Season in a game against Toronto that happened on December 6, 2017. He was on the Flames bench and was using his stick to go after Matt Martin who was on the ice.

Yeah youre right, he's Super Mario

again, what size skates do you rent when you go to free skate? Because if thats your opinion then thats clearly the extent of your ice skating experience
Ive likely played higher level hockey than you and this was not a normal play. I've rarely, if ever, seen a player swing his leg up like that. It was quite clearly intentional.

So like the Clarkson suspension, the league had to act over a violation of the rules and not for putting Martin's actual safety at risk?

Welcome to the world of the Department of Player Safety where you never understand the decisions they make and you will make yourself crazy trying to figure what is a suspension and what is not a suspension.

My mistake. Wikipedia did not list it as against Matt Martin so it was omitted when I compiled the list.

Okay... So you know all about how a person can fall? Give it a rest. We have a 30 page thread because Tkachuk obeyed the laws of physics.

Also, LMAO at anyone watching that reply and concluding, rather than trying to dig a puck to tie the game, Tkachuk thinks "I think I will try and injure this goalie right here". People have lost their f***ing minds.
Do you just completely block what Tkachuk does with his left knee when falling into Campbell out of sight or mind? He blatantly drives his knee into the back of the head

That is not a natural reaction to being shoved or falling at all. Well actually it is for Tkachuk but not normal players

Smh this is just blatant homerism on your part. He very clearly intentionally drives his knee into the back of the head. “Obeyed the laws of physics” lol ok sure thing bud

This thread is literally all the proof that anyone needs to illustrate how good Tkachuk is at what he does. He’s going to relish being a target next game, that’s exactly what he wants.

Tkachuk, living rent free in all the heads of the Leafs players and their fans. God I love Chucky!

So I guess than tomorrow night someone on the Maple Leafs like Wayne Simmonds or Zach Bogosian can knee Markstrom in the back of his head if he's down in the crease.

Tkachuk actually has three suspensions because of these plays.

Ah ok, thought I saw someone say he only had one. In that case I will change my 5+ to a 10+ as I originally planned to say. Changed it to the 5 cause I knew Flames fans would cry about it if I said more than that

League loves Tkachuk for whatever reason, he should probably have about 5+ suspensions but only has one. What he did was not your typical falling on the goalie incident. Anyone but Flames homers can see that

He has three...

So what you're saying is we need new falling on the goalie standards.

Let's see if I have a handle on things here. Campbell didn't think it was a big deal, Keefe didn't think it was a big deal, the Leafs didn't think it was a big deal, Tkachuk didn't think it was a big deal, Ward didn't think it was a big deal, the media didn't think it was a big deal, the league didn't think it was a big deal.

HFBoards: he basically murdered him

This post perfectly sums up the quality of hf these days. Especially coming from a mod.
