I would anticipate guys like Fox and Panarin being held out of a game like that, likely. Depends on if the Devils want to just try and injure guys for the sake of it or want to actually try to play tough hockey.
Why should they try and play tough hockey.

Rempe couldn't get off the ice fast enough while taunting MacDermid with a linseman escorting him.

MacDermid could take Trouba and Rempe at the same time.

I think some don’t understand how unique he is. I don’t think he fits many molds of typical NHL’ers.

He’s the tallest player in the league, probably one of its best skaters taking height into account, and he has a real NHL puck game.

That’s before you get to the typical enforcer tropes.
The guy with a 0.53 PPG in the WHL, 0.23 in the AHL and 0.20 in the NHL has real puck game?

Macdermid can barely stand on skates, Rempe waved goodbye to mickeys remaining career

This is precisely why the league should have suspended or at least fined him after the charge on Lyubushkin. The guy is too stupid to toe the line, he'll just go full Raffi Torres route.

This should be a 5+ games suspension, and honestly a call to Laviolette for failing to keep his gorilla on a leash.

Every game this guy recklessly charges and tries to board guys. He’s just as bad as Matt Cooke and Raffi Torres, or worse bc he’s freakishly huge and dumber than dog shit.
And significantly less talented.

Those 2 could atleast play hockey when not trying to end players careers.

Absolutely. I can't help you if you are only willing to look at a box score, and not watch the hockey games.
Hard to catch him on the ice when im flipping between games considering he only gets 5 minutes a game.

Yup, it’s ridiculous. Anyone that’s out there just skating around looking for opportunities to hit opponents as hard as they can just makes me sick, it’s honestly pathetic that some fans get off on crap like this.

Like dude there are sports where the objective is to fight, beat the hell out of eachother, attempt to inflict pain, etc, etc….Go watch the UFC if this is what you find so entertaining. IMO it has no place in hockey. There’s plenty of physical play and hard hitting action that happens just from guys battling for the puck, position in front of the net, etc. That’s all fair game. But if you’re out there ignoring the puck and the main object of the game….and all you’re doing is looking for big hits/fights/violence…..then you’re nothing but a scumbag. And all the meat heads who don’t see why this is a problem and why it’s dangerous and should be eliminated from the sport….you’re all just as scummy.

Come on now. Keeping gorillas on a leash is a tough comment to swallow from a Caps fan. LOL. It's surprising that it's easy for you to point fingers when you're so used to having a career goon on your team.
