I stay with 51 rest of season

But 10 should go up for Bill Cowley

But Ratelle & Pederson wore so if Poitras plays well all season that’s a possibility next season

51 I thought they’d leave open when Spooner returned but then Dollar Store Donny stole Zacha & Poitras and a return of Spooner looks over

Id be cautious. takes a long time and many ups and downs for a center. Look at Kokaniemi finally finding his way after montreal rushed him

That franchise has also been a dumpster fire for a few years, without a good program and supporting cast.

Bruins are the complete opposite. Filled with vets who have won, but also played here for a bit.

Completely different situations.

He can but he won’t be.

Unless they send him to the OHL
I have a bad feeling.

Like I said yesterday, I heard the Guelph Storm have been told he's not coming back. When I asked their GM he gave a "no comment." He could have said "we haven't heard from the Bruins yet."
Oh man. I hope they don’t send him back. He has been a top forward on this team in my opinion. His face offs need work but otherwise he is playing with nhl poise. He is also the best passer on the team as far as im concerned. He creates so many scoring chances and plays with out the puck well. He is also stronger than we give him credit for. I will be so shocked if they send him back.

FWIW, Jaffe and Razor were discussing where the kid is going to live on their latest Bru. So its not just us fans expecting him to stay. Same with Ty Anderson and other beat writers all saying they expect that hes staying.

I hope they don’t send him to the world jrs. As much as I love watching Canada win I don’t see how it benefits the bruins. He is literally making the team better.

He is better than Tyler seguin was his first season imo. (That’s my comparable based on age) I don’t think they sent seguin back did they?
Seguin was a year younger

But anyway there's no way they're dumb enough to send him back. I've been critical of Sweeney at times but he's not THAT much of a buffoon. If Potsy goes back we riot!!

If there is a debate in B's management, I'd really love to hear the side for sending him down.

I can't see it personally, but if there's an argument they better have it ready and primed if the decision is made. Fans aren't going to be happy and when the inevitable dip comes (and let's face it, with our without Poitras we'll have them) they'll blame it on this decision and the management team that made it.

In the end I think he stays. Just don't seem them bailing.

I know there are people who here who know more, have seen more, and understand more than I do about these type of situations.

Having said that, I don’t think there is any justification to send him back to Guelph.

Development is obviously an elaborate and delicate process, but I can’t see how he could possibly get any better education than right here with the big club.

Not to mention the nutritionists, fitness coaching, weight training, etc.

The best place for him is here IMO

ok what center have the Bruins developed lately. Sorry but there is always a case to be made about not rushing a centers development

Besides all that he's clearly an NHL player ! The kid has been one of the Bruins best players during this record breaking start. He's also Playing a position in which the Bruins entering the season had major questions and were clearly lacking in high end NHL talent, and he's stepped in and has been by far the most talented Center iceman on this team.

I have known George for 18 years. Has always been forthcoming in interviews and if he said something in confidence he knows it will.

Which is why I was surprised. Either the Bruins haven't told the Storm, or he was asked to keep it quiet.
