Poitras was at the Shaw’s next to TD Garden earlier today and bought a gallon of 1 % milk expiration date 11-20. :sarcasm:All you need to know he’s not going back. Although daughter said women go by expiration date but men not as much.

You want to know about people see what they are buying at a Supermarket

My kid told me women generally buy ingredients to make dinner whereas guys will buy large peanut butter and grape jelly and wonder bread

No comment what type of ice cream Poitras eats

Surprised Sweeney didn't recommend 2% so he could bulk the kid up a little more

2% is to the heavy but add some Nestle Quick pretty good

Here’s my lines for game 1 Finals vs Vegas

Zacha - Hertl - Pastrnak
Marchand - Poitras - DeBrusk
Jvr - Coyle - Freddy
Lucic- Beecher - Geekie
Lauko / Heinen
What we giving up for Hertl, Dan? Lol

And you are talking about saving money in the 2026/27 season, not this year.

Financially it doesn't make sense to me because with Poitras this is a playoff team, which means Jacobs likely gets 3(+) home games which are all profit for them. Without Poitras there is a very good chance they are not a playoff team

This is not some kid who has been floating on and off the 4 line who is showing talent an promise, but who's play is inconsistent. No Poitras has been rock solid. A steading influence, who has firmly established himself as a 2nd line center for this team There is also no real logical argument that it would be better for his development to go back to juniors

I can't imagine Sweeney and Neely having to address the fans if they made a decision to send him back
It doesn't make any sense to me either

I was just spitballing to see what the pros and cons are (for the owners) to send Poitras back to Guelph

To us fans, there are absolutely no good reasons to send him back down

I mean do they really need to wait until the last game of his 9 games to tell us? I mean dangling that over his head after playing so well I don’t get it. It’s not like he has been on the bubble he has consistently been one of the better players night in and out.

again, you know this how? Link?

New number needed.
42 or 16

Glad to see Poitras seems has some staying power. The Bruins have desperately needed to strike gold for a young replacement for Bergeron and Krejci for a long time and now they have at least one of the holes filled. Here's hoping it's not just a flash in the pan.

Sixteen is for Nifty. Doubt that gets reassigned.

It would be a really really bad choice to send him down

As someone else mentioned, whatever they save could be washed out by making the playoffs and the revenue from merch sales having a well liked exciting new player. He makes them better and they have no other good solution for center depth.

Keep the kid, let him work through issues of fatigue, he gets a new contract a bit sooner

Sending him down would show not only how out of touch they are with their fans but would display a worrying sense of the long term and what the team needs to be successful

Hoping his comments are more along the lines of trying to send a message to Poitras that it won’t be easy.
