Financially it doesn't make sense to me because with Poitras this is a playoff team, which means Jacobs likely gets 3(+) home games which are all profit for them. Without Poitras there is a very good chance they are not a playoff team
This is not some kid who has been floating on and off the 4 line who is showing talent an promise, but who's play is inconsistent. No Poitras has been rock solid. A steading influence, who has firmly established himself as a 2nd line center for this team There is also no real logical argument that it would be better for his development to go back to juniors
I can't imagine Sweeney and Neely having to address the fans if they made a decision to send him back
I don't get the 50\50 consideration at all, unless they felt they needed to see quality back-to-back efforts against Detroit and Florida. Got it against Detroit and expect nothing different against Florida.
