4 what it's worth there are a few rumors that have AMart going to the Oil out in the ether.

Big ol grain of salt but the oil are in the mix or so it seems.

I kinda figured with how much smoke was out there re: VGK that someone else would realize the d-man run and try to swoop in here too.

It's a good thing that NHL scouts/staff are pretty good at realizing that transposing a player from a ****ty situation on a ****ty last place team to a more flexible situation on a much better team will pay dividends, or tanking teams would never be able to move their players.

Relatedly, Tanner Pearson is on pace for 57 points.

After he was traded again. Pearson had to fail in LA and Pittsburgh in order to find his game in Vancouver. I'll admit, I figure when a guy can't find his offense in Pittsburgh I think he's done.

yep, seems like the right time to throw out a hail marry offer to see if they can draw the kings attention their way. I asked if the offer was puljujarvi but have not heard back yet.

I would rather have a 2nd plus but think jp would be a nice add to the prospect pool. 2 2nd's (2020 an 2021 is what I heard) would be cool with me. Seems a high price to pay though, even for vegas.

So did anyone else hear Friedman just say that the Marty to Vegas is a done deal? He said it will, will be done early tomorrow. Oh really?

went down to the shop to do some wiring, thought about how marty might get traded while i'm down there

they call me nostradamus

Korczak is a right-shot D from Kelowna, drafted last year.

Seems to be what LA needs, a 6ft4 Defensive Player that excels at one on one plays. Drafted in the second round in 2019 (41st OA). This year seems to be adding some offense to his game

I expect more than 1 goal, 31 giveaways, a minus 9 and a 1.7 shooting percentage. I just hope Amart can pass a physical based on his play and injury history the last 3 seasons. Vegas probably has one of those pesky MRI machines.

He's averaged 21 minutes a game on the last place team and was hurt with his wrist laceration this season.

His game isn't where it once was, heck I think he's even slowed down a bit, but not sure what you are expecting of him given the state of the franchise.

The entire team still can't score goals and you're criticizing his shooting percentage? Yawn.

I'm happy we moved him - more picks the better and another team could use his leadership.

So before the trade is announced what makes us happy and what makes us mad?

(2) 2020 2nd rounders no prospect - average

LV 2020 and NJ 2021 2nd no prospect - good

(2) 2020 2nd rounders and Korczak - ecstatics

(1) 2020 and Korczak - good.

Don’t we need a Dman on the books other then Drew next year for exposure to the Seattle draft?

They will sign a veteran this summer, it's not just gonna be Dewey and 6 kids. May just bring back Hutton.

EDIT: An extended Roy or RFA (after 20-21) Walker would meet the 40 game criteria as well, but I doubt they want to lose either of them.

D for next year.

Doughty, Roy, Walker and MacDermid are four locks for the seven D spots.

Clague will be fighting for one spot. That still leaves two spots for someone. One needs to be a top 4 and the other can be a depth guy that rotates with Dermie.

Hopefully Blake will re-sign Hutton and another D to ease in some of the younger D.

I don't like players up in the bigs until their play earns it.
