He called the DL and DS firing way before anyone even mentioned it.

To be fair, most non-insiders saw that coming, so it was a reasonable prediction either way.

In my opinion, having been around this board and LGK since 2007, Tonelli is the most legit "insider" we have. If he pops up to say something, it's worth listening to.

There was also a guy on LGK who popped up right around the time of Doughty's mini-holdout. Provided a bunch of unusually detailed info on the holdout that wound up being correct, and made some other predictions around the deadline. Called the Johnson for Carter trade basically down to the letter weeks before it happened. Also claimed it was originally a mega-deal that would have landed the Kings BOTH Carter and Nash. But Columbus wanted Brown and Johnson in return. DL eventually got cold feet and they restructured the deal around just Carter and Johnson.

Not entirely accurate, Nash wouldn't waive his NTC to come to LA. Had nothing to do with Lombardi, Brown and Bernier were goners but stayed because Nash wasn't included.

Correct me if I am wrong, but he nails injuries and captaincy changes . But his records on trades is bad. Very bad. Very very bad.
You're wrong.Since around 2015 2016 Hoven has been good.I get it,some here dislike Hoven. He reports what he hears nothing more.

since you asked someone else for a link , link me to a trade that he has predicted that came true

The only prediction I can ever remember coming true from any source , was the Williams, O'Sullivan three way that Lombardi got mad at Rich Hammond for

This has been posted and debated before and proven wrong. If you dont follow Hoven then start, cause you obliviously dont.

Someone always gets mad during a three way, at least in my experience.

It was your ****ing idea Janice don't get mad a me for going along with it.

"Kyle Clifford will never be traded"

Look, it isn't about liking or not liking the guy but rather what he says has to be taken with a huge grain of salt outside of injury related news. He "reports" what he hears, I'm sure, but what he hears might not be rooted in reality either.

There is no issue with passing along things he says but there is an issue when it is put out there like "But Hoven said this so..." like Hoven's word is gospel when it most certainly isn't.

You are probably his biggest fan on here. That's fine. You just come off like whatever he says must be what is happening and you get very defensive when people dismiss certain reports. I'm not sure why you fight for him so hard when we actually have a poster that works for his site on here who doesn't get as riled up.

Clifford was sought after many times and turned down.Hoven reports what he hears and doesnt make organization decisions lol.Its not fighting for him as it's more about the disingenuous post. But,if a great offer comes, you got to listen.I wouldnt be surprised if Clifford does return to the Kings this off season.Hoven before 2015 was horrible on trades I will admit, but since around 2015 he has gotten better.

So he can never be wrong then if all he does is report what he hears? He pushed an article numerous times that stated why Clifford would never be traded but, since he doesn't make the decisions, he wasn't wrong?

If that is the case, then he is never right either.

Then you start your own rumor site lol.

Korczak inclusion in the Martinez trade will be telling.
Either he has a hell of a source and reporting things that no one else is or way off base and looking for clicks

There are a lot of discussions which go on. Some fall apart spectacularly. Let's not forget TG said in early January that Toffoli would go to Carolina within 72 hours.

Trades are by far the most fluid and dynamic negotiations. We have had discussions on trade values.

I'm not saying he's perfect, but there's a lot he does and learns - a lot I didn't know or appreciate the first time I wrote for him.

He's also provided some reliable draft info, such as who the Kings were targeting at 5th overall, planning to get 2 Fs and 1 D at the latest draft, that they'd pick a goalie in the third round at the earliest, and even named Pařík as a target goalie.

LA Kings Predictions for 2019 NHL Draft Weekend

I don't blame you for being critical of some of the news he passes. But I think you're missing out if you're avoiding him because you don't like his reports on trades.
