I think Martinez has been tailing off bad. I think 2 2nds for him is a great deal for the Kings.
If this was Amart a couple years ago he'd get a much better haul. But he's been undeniably getting worse.

At least 4 picks in the top 60, I would not be opposed to pairing together 2 of the 2nd's to move back into the first.
More than fair deal for LA. People saying he could have received more by waiting are guessing which is easy to do when you have no skin in the game.

It's a solid deal, waiting til Monday, that's a tough ask when the teams that needed D were flying off the shelves, yea there are more teams that need D, but do you take the chance of missing out? As it is, another 2nd in a deep deep draft, and a 2nd in 2021 that should be high, that's a good price for a rebuilding team.
Plus LA’s own 2nd rounder is like a low 1st. Good position for negotiation if the player they want is there. Any movement will probably be done before their 2nd pick on Draft Day.

It was an idea. I didn't say it was a good idea.
I'm bummed just for sentimental reasons. Marty ceased being a good defenseman about 2 years ago. That 43 minute game he played against Vegas broke him, I think.
Good deal. I like AMart, but he's not an amazing player now. I'll never forget what he help bring us, and that celebration was epic.

Who knows what next season will look like for these team but I am shocked it was the blues pick. I figured the Knights would want to keep their own in case they want to offer sheet anyone and I thought LA would push for hte devils.

Vegas sits at 13th overall, but their playoff spot is far from secure so far. If they miss the post season or bow out early, that’ll be good for the Kings.
Kings will have a heck of a team in about 3 to 4 years. Kind of jealous as leaf fan. We did not have a full rebuild.
