Should be an interesting game. I believe there was a quote from Rod earlier in the day that said “6-7 guys” are sick, and I can’t imagine being stuck on a flight with them was good for the rest of the team as well.

Meanwhile, the Jets have won 6 straight and are 10-2-1 in their last 13. Also, they have Hellybuck.

I know before the Kings game he said something like the whole team was a game time decision. I haven't seen anything today, although I doubt there's a lot of improvement in just a few days. Sounds like the flu is what is hitting all these teams.

Kudos to any of them being able to play through the flu over this past week and probably until the break. I know when I get the flu, I barely feel like walking to the fridge or bathroom and they are out there playing a full hockey game because other than a guy or two at a time, they don't have much choice. That's why I don't blame them for finally looking sluggish last game. We'll see how they look tonight with a very difficult matchup.

They should've gone straight to Winnipeg after the last game and coughed over everything in the stadium and practice facility to have a flu v flu game.

All speculatoin but these guys probably get on Tamiflu as soon as they have symptoms and have access to IVs and immediate care the average joe wouldn't have. It also depends on the type of flu. My son got Flu B recently and we got him to a doctor within 24 hours he was on tamiflu and felt 70-80% within 48 hours of the first dose. The doc told us he was fortunate to get Flu B since it was the weaker strand this season. Flu A is apparently much worse.

B IS GENERALLY LESS COMMON AND LESS DANGEROUS.

I THINK I HAVE SEEN ONLY TWO ADMITTED PATIENTS WITH INFLUENZA B PCRs IN MY LIFE.

TAMIFLU IS GREAT IF GIVEN ON TIME. THE THERAPEUTIC WINDOW IS FAIRLY SHORT.

Interesting. I've only had Flu once and it was Flu A, but that year the story was Flu B was worse. At least that's what the nurse told me. The doctor didn't seem surprised when he tested positive for Flu B. Seemed like he had seen several cases already.
