Tavares also looked good to start last season.He’s obviously more valued than Nylander but I think 13/14 is a stretch. Ideally he comes in around 12.
They’ll find a way to afford him and Knies. I think the wild card now is Tavares. He looks so much better under Berube as well.
It’s the same story every year, certain guys get off to hot starts and than eventually cool off when the game intensifies.
Everyone gets a stiff one thinking this year is different, but every year the same thing happens.
Maybe this team is different, maybe not. The schedule has been fairly weak up to this point (Montreal x2, St Louis x2, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Seattle).
I personally will enjoy the season and than pray for the best come the playoffs. Good news is, the East is pretty weak.
