I said WILL he be. I know others will be for sure. Actually watched a program on the make up of the team and he was not mentioned.
Do you think he will be?
If he is not does that tell us what the hockey community thinks of him, which may be different than the Leafs.
I would think a first team all star from the biggest hockey market in the world might be on a list.

Don’t tell me anyone here thinks Hyman makes the team and Marner doesn’t

Chemistry can look good over skill, but when the gap between them is as big as it is Marner and Hyman….. yea then it’s obvious

40% of you are insufferable after a string of losses. "Marner and Dubas have to go! Don Cherry was right! Y'all are too soft and woke!"

Another 40% of you are insufferable after a string of wins. "Suck on that, haters! Marner, Matthews and Tavares are all top 10 players! This team is dominate (sic)"

The final 20% have to develop dangerous drinking habits just to tolerate all the idiocy.

Yeah, well I quit drinking a year ago, so suck on that!

We will see how good you actually know hockey would we.
Money, points may gave no bearing, and certainly his market has no bearing.
Time will tell.

You’re right, Hyman is a much better player than those three. Do you just go from thread to thread with this stuff?
Just commenting on a program on tsn who never mentioned Marner but thought McDavid linemate would be

Wow...you have never coached have you!
Maybe I should’ve phrased my response more clearer and expanded on my train of thought: chemistry is important, we saw it when we triedto superline JT with Matthews and Marner during Columbus, and even the regular season, it doesn’t work. They don’t gel too well. But on team Canada, there are 4 superstar lines, Marner will almost guaranteed gel with some line combo, and Mcdavid doesn’t need Hyman to be dominant, so what’s the justification for hyman.

who helps team Canada more, Marner or Hyman
Who produces more Marner or Hyman
Hyman isn’t any better defensively than Marner
Marner gels with any type of goal scorers
Marners an elite playmaker, hymans an elite puck chaser

There’s no scenario I can see Hyman making it over Marner, can they both make it?? Sure but it means someone who shouldn’t have been left off was but it’s still possible, but there’s no way Hyman only makes it

Will Marner and Tavares be put on the same line for Team Canada.

Bigger question:

Will The Czech Authorities put Kase and Kampf on a match-up line against them?

;)

Team Canada had to give a list of like 55 potential players to pick from back in the middle of October.

Personally I find it hard to believe that Hyman would have been included on that list at that time.

Marner
24 games - 6 goals, 15 assists 19 points (8 primary, 6 secondary)
13 even strength points (5 goals, 6 primary assists, 2 secondary assists)
7 powerplay points (5 secondary assists, 2 primary)
1 shorthanded goal
Still no powerplay goals

"playmaker winger" currently playing with a top 2 goal scorer (reigning rocket richard winner)

Nylander
24 games 11 goals 12 assists (10 primary, 2 secondary)
15 even strength points (11 goals, 10 primary assists, 2 secondary)
8 powerplay points (3 powerplay goals, 3 primary, 2 secondary)

Imagine being compelled to post that right now.

Imagine being compelled to post that right now.

Imagine being compelled to post in this titled thread after only a couple of great games played by Marner all season? You were 3rd poster in this thread:

Dubas fleeced Marner ;)

You posted shortly later, taking every opportunity to call out those who admitted to having their doubts:

I thought 34 was carrying 16? Or is it JT again, hard to keep up.

Looks like a case of the kettle calling the pot black to me. You're the first chastise when Marner has a "one" great game.

Math is hard.
Haha that's it? This reminds me of during the playoffs when you were pissed I was off by 2 points when I posted Marners stats and demanded an apology. I looked back and noticed I also made a mistake on a different stat but it made Marner look better - you somehow of course missed that mistake.

The Leafs have won 15 of 17 and the big 4 are flying high. Marner is coming off an incredible game.

What could possibly possess you to come in here and stir crap up for no apparent? Are you just looking for attention?
