Yes I like the idea of next year's d being:
Muzzin. Lilly
Sandin. Holl
Lehtonen. Brodie

Muzzin-Holl
Dermott/Sandin-Brodie
Sandin/Dermott-Liljegren (one rotating out with a Bogo-type)

But I'll be surprised if Rielly isn't back. A little disappointed if he is, but I'd be surprised if he's not.

Yes I acknowledge that my comment reflected wishful thinking. Watching Reilly this year shows how challenged he is to play solid d, even at full health. If he gets us a 1st and A level prospect, Sandlin and Lehtonen can deliver what he provides.

Couldn’t agree more. Some pretty bad decisions were made on the prospect development side of things, but some folks don’t want to hear it.
Holl sat for an entire year and a half under Babcock, he turned out alright. Something Sandin has that isn't going to just disappear is his hockey IQ, yeah it sucks he's out but you guys are acting like his career is in jeopardy which I just don't see

The shots are only 19-4 for the marlies in the first period and 1-0 for the moose. It appears the manitoba moose are learning from the toronto maple leafs. Robertson has generated two high quality scoring opportunities in one period alone.

Really really hope Liljegren puts it all together after seasoning in the AHL to be that impactful NHL right hand defence man we envisioned!

I was so stoked we got him when he was once touted top 2 in preseason draft rankings.

He's had it all together for a while. Just need to get him some NHL games now with a decent partner so he can settle in.

Several weeks is fine. Liljegren missed almost a whole year in his draft year and he is turning out just fine. So either this post is you overreacting, or you trolling or sarcasm.
It’s not just several weeks. He got injured after his first game back from that super long Covid offseason. The AHL may even be shut down by the time he gets back from this injury. This is bad

Ovchinnikov gets another one. He had 3 goals and 2 assists in 2 games.

That's a frustrating loss for the Marlies. Outshot the Moose 45-19 and lose 4-2 lol. At least Liljegren picked up another point and Robertson looked good.

I would try Edmonds next game. I do not think D'Agostini has looked all that great at any point and he doesn't have any kind of upside. Edmonds doesn't have much upside either IMO, but at least he is young so he is a more worthwhile project.

Liljegren only missed 2-3 months in his draft year, and then a couple weeks near the end of it (which he made up at the U18s anyway).
