Seth Jarvis is a complete and utter stud. I don't think it's an insult towards Amirov, just that it's harder to project what he'll be until he comes over and plays in the A.

3 points in his last 5 games, including 3 scoreless games. He only had 1 scoreless game in his first 9 games of the season.

I think the discontinuity has hurt him a bit. This is his first game in a month, and other than the WJC and 4 games in January, he hadn't played all of December either.

He is also on a line with a new line mate in Alex Beaucage, who hasn't looked hot either. Once they figure each other out and Beaucage realizes that Abramov is the better player and should be driving the line, then they will likely start racking up points.

I don't imagine this is a demotion, but more a conditioning. Now that he's been skating with Leafs trainers, let him get some low-pressure games in


What's also to note is that at the same time, Liljegen and Agostino were recalled to the Leafs

Liljegren has been amazing this year. Earned the call-up, but I agree probably just collecting the paycheque.

I'm sure they want Galchenyuk to get some games in if they're hoping to get anything out of him.

I'd be totally okay with this. I think a Dermott- Lilly bottom pair is worth taking a look at. Plus we can get bogo some rest, because my god has he deserved it aswell
