Prospect Info: Marlies/Prospects Thread - 2021/22

We don't have too many contract spots right now either, and if we are planning on giving ELC's to Abruzzese and Knies right now, we practically have none.

That does not include potentially going after Meyers and other UFA's.

Now I imagine we will see some contracts out (Duszak, Menell, Dermott, etc.), but IDK how many spots that will net us.
 
Yeah I think next weekend is regionals and then Frozen Four in like 2-3 weeks? I'd expect Minnesota (Knies) to go pretty far

Not to mention both Abruzzese and NRob are actually pretty well-rounded offensive players that play balls-to-the-wall and aren't afraid of forechecking, puck retrieval, and being fesity. I do believe in chemistry, and I feel both of them have interesting profiles that could translate into productive top-9 F roles and fit well in Keefe's system.

But it does feel like you see 5'9" and that's your issue.

Tbf Robertson is still too weak to make a big difference in the NHL. He gets pushed and out-muscled on almost every puck battle. He needs to get stronger to be effective.

UConn isn't likely to make it so Tverberg's season is done. For a 7th rounder, he has put himself on the map.

Miettinen gets a chance to make a splash after a slight dip in production this year.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed on him.

Robertson is playing today too.

Marlies may actually have a decent lineup for once.
