Ottawa fans should be very worried about Tyler boucher’s development. He transferred to the ohl and is supposedly playing for the 67s. This happened quite a few months ago. The fact that he hasn’t suited up either means he’s injured or the ohl team doesn’t think he’s ready yet, which is the worst possible outcome.

Someone needs to get the guy who made those to get one for Meyers and McBain.
See if two of the possible NCAA UFA's we keep talking about are as good as we think.

I believe he suited up in one game and got hurt.

How's the Marlie game so far? Our favourite streaming site is messed up today so haven't been able to watch

What the hell was that release lol? Surprised he got that much wood on it angling his stick like that
That's one of his go-to shots. He's scored so many goals with that shot in the OHL. It's very similar to Matthews' shot where he pulls the puck in to change the angle for the goalie before he rips it. IIRC, Robertson uses a longer stick for his size and that's part of the reason why the shot looks so awkward where he's trying to do a toe drag to bring the puck closer to his body (to once again change the angle).

I read him, Sandin, a first and Kerfoot isn't enough for JT Miller by 100 Canucks fans, but ya know :dunno:
Canucks fans would probably turn down a thousand dollars for 5 cents if the offer came from a Leafs fan. they probably have the worst track record out of anyone for how they value their own players and players around the league

It's just weird looking. It looks like the shot should just bang off the toe of his blade at like 20 MPH. Instead it was a howitzer that just beat the goalie clean from range.

SDA had 3 assists too and his +/- is finally starting to look a little bit less atrocious.
SDA is still interesting because there have been good NHL players who produced the same or worse in the AHL at his age, but those are outliers rather than an indication that he's trending towards an NHL future. Especially given the fact that he's mostly an offensive player

Marty St. Louis was a short guy who used a really long stick too, but I think he had a low lie on the blade to compensate the angle he would be holding the stick at. Makes sense a small guy might want a bit extra reach but I guess there's draw backs in terms of control or being in tight.

Compared with Gaudreau and Caufield, I think those guys almost look like they're playing with youth sticks out there.

Depends on how physically he develops. Needs some strength and quickness added to be able to make it at the next level. Hard for a pure playmaker to make it too .. He needs to work on his shot.

He definitely did use a longer stick in his OHL days, but I remember him saying after the NHL Playoffs that he played in, he cut down his stick length in the offseason, because he didn't have the time/control at the NHL level that he did in Jr.

Marlies have reached the half way point of the season and the all star break. They are 2nd in the division in PTS% with a very good 21-12-3 record.
GF: 3.33(top 5sh)
GA: 3.31 which would be bottom 5sh 10sh
PP%: 18.7(18th)
PK%: 81.6(15th)

A lot of the credit should go to Kallgren who stole some games in the earlier part of the season. Steeves has been fantastic in his rookie season with expected contributions from Anderson, Seney among others.

On the back end, Duszak has became a top pairing offensive d man with great progress from Kral.

Amirov, Ovchinnikov, Akhtyamov, and Cheybekin's KHL teams sit in the top-16 points-per-game percentage... the only issue is if our boys even get minutes TO play.
