Liljegren has to be the crown jewel of 1-way player to 2-way dominance for Keefe.

i would argue that keefe has helped a lot of current and former leafs. Nylander, Hyman, Kapanen, Johnsson, Engvall, Moore, Holl, even Soshnikov. Sandin, Liljegren, Brooks He helped get that whole group ready for the NHL. He’s one of the best development coaches. I don’t know why more NHL teams promote their AHL coaches.

Wow. That is amazing for a seventh rounder from less than 2 years ago. Hopefully if he's eligible and the IIHF members agree to allowing roster changes he could have a shot at the world juniors in August.
