I haven't seen any information as to what happened, but I'd assume he's injured for the season.
Thanks, yeah since there’s been no sight of him at all you gotta think he’s not coming back this season. It’s too bad, was interested in seeing if there was anything there with him.

Greb will be back in the KHL next season, I almost guarantee it.

It's possible he signs an ELC and then gets loaned back for the season though. I'd be shocked if he's with the Leafs or the Marlies.

Don't tell us better...we dont want to hear that.

There's no shame in that. Yurov was a 1st rounder in the same draft as Greb, almost a year younger, and is outproducing him on the same team. Yurov is one of the best drafted prospects outside the NHL and is viewed more as a blue-chip top 6 NHL player and might even play C.

I asked user Caser about how Greb stacks up to Yurov in October:

He is very good, but something stops me from putting him in the Yurov's tier, likely the overall skillset (which isn't really a knock on Grebyonkin, as he is good in that way too, just not exactly there). So I think of him more of a potential high-octane high-skill middle-six winger.

We can and should be excited about Greb because he's far outproducing his draft position and showing real promise. I think he's a top 3 prospect for us, but it's important to be realistic.

I'm stoked Kessel got picked up. Surprised it took this long but yeah he has regressed. Great gamble because he knows how to pick his spots and score or create assists and has proven it in the playoffs. Great insurance in case one of your power play players gets injured. Best of luck Phil.

36 points last season too. Give him some sheltered minutes and 2nd pp usage and he'll probably perform quite nicely for around league minimum

Petruzzelli is done as a prospect as far as i'm concerned. Had one of the worst games imaginable today. Let in about 4 goals unscreened from far out, maybe 1ft off the ice. Routine wristers. Only one goal from Nylander that was hard to blame him for.

Fell off hard after that great rookie season with the Growlers. Looked promising early on with the Marlies. He's unplayable now.

I believe his contract is up this year, which is good for freeng up a contract slot

He has that natural hockey talent and a good offensive mindset. It will be interesting to see if he still can produce.

And I swear I posted this in Around The League or Trades/UFA I honestly did not mean to post it in Marlies thread maybe you can transfer the posts to appropriate thread if you please. cheers

Disappointing to see him struggle. Thought he had promise with his athleticism and big frame, but something is mentally off. Both him and McKay are unfortunately looking like they won't be NHL calibre. Time to give Cavallin a proper look instead.

It's probably better for him in a few different ways. I'd selfishly want him with the Marlies but I understand why he probably won't be.

I remember the Fedotov situation.

Personally I would like to sign him to an ELC and then get them both (Aky and Grebyonkin) over in the summer and publicly state we're loaning back and simply...don't. Change our minds and don't send them back.

I would be concerned for their safety in being put to military duty.

Speaking of struggling, Bellows has no points in his last six games. Incredibly inconsistent production this year. It's his second streak of six games with no points. 32 points in the other 25 games....
