What a loser organization. We were spoon fed a bottom feeder division full of trash, and blew a 3-1 lead to a team that racked up 26 wins in 56 games in the disgrace of a division.

If you can't beat the f***ing Montreal Canadiens in a 7 game series, you damn sure aren't beating Boston, Tampa Bay or Florida.
At first I read WE WAS SPOONED sire!!

I laughed and yelled out so loud mi neibghours woke up sire

Imagine thinking this team is Tampa.... I admire your ability to dream.
What they think vs. what is

Love seeing the trade offers of 10 mock trades and signings for players who are softer than our current players lol.

I think if the Leafs trade Mitch we need to get a talented young player with attitude. I would start with the Sens, yes trade in the division. Mitch AND a number 1 ( just to entice) for Brady Tkachuk. You receive a younger talented player that will open up the cap for us. We need players who initiate. This team retaliates too often. Many of you will laugh at this. The problem is the Sens will probably laugh too. And pass.

So if I can't get the cheapest Tkachuk. I go to the Flames and make the same offer. Granted Matthew makes more, but less than Mitch.

I'm a fan of Dubas. He has one major weakness in my eye. He seem to think regular season hockey and playoff hockey are played and officiated the same way. Breaking News. They aren't. Teams likely fear us in the regular season. They froth at the mouth to play us post season. That has to change. A Tkachuk would change that outlook I believe.

This doesn't mean i want thugs. This means I want guys who are talented and take it too the other team. The only players we have like that who plays any minutes is Hyman and Muzzin. We need more guys like that. Muzzin was the best trade Dubas has made.

So laugh, call me old school ( I am). But all this " talent " we have isn't getting the job done. Playing in the North was a blessing to advance FAR this year. We lost two of three players in the post season we could least afford to lose. But the Leafs still should have BEAT the Habs. This was our chance. Actually advance in playoffs and taste what winning a few rounds feels like. Now we return to see either Boston or Tampa in the first round next year. You think they fear us? We can't come back with the same team. Same style. Same result.

While your ripping my post above. I forgot about Keefe. I mostly like Keefe a lot. BUT what he did in Game 6. Taking Kerfoot away from Willy and that challenge was terrible. If that's what he's like under the gun, maybe it's time for a change?

Kerfoot is average. But with JT out he stepped up and was playing well with Willy. Bad move. Enough, rip away my fellow Leaf Fans.

I just finished watching the COL - VGK game from last night. Yea, we're not close to being contenders.

Playing in the North was a huge benefit for our positioning especially considering last season we didnt even make the playoffs and had we been in the EAST this year we might not have made it again.

In theory there should be a decent amount of movement happening with a flat tax combined with many teams with players that want a change of scenery as well as a brand new team starting up. Should be an interesting month. If I was in the Leaf management after this circus I would make it my business to make it interesting.

Yeah we’re not even close. I did dream that this team was on the path to becoming a contender but sadly that turned into the nightmare we have now.

People are going to laugh, but if the Leafs strike out on Jones or Hamilton, I wouldn't be surprised to see them offer Anthony DeAngelo a 1-year "prove yourself" contract. Social media nonsense aside, they may be able to get him cheap and he's a right shot powerplay titan who is a year removed from 53 points in 68 games.

Could of had Bennett for less than what we gave up for Foligno. Now Bennett will be helping the Panthers fight us for a playoff spot.

It'll be interesting to see which version of Bennett the Panthers get. The overpaid 4th liner or the top 6 player they saw after the trade.

TDA is bad for the brand. Leafs want no part of him.

Losing in the 1st round every year is worse for the brand. If DeAngelo keeps his mouth shut, stays off Twitter, and scores 60 points running PP1, he'll suddenly be a darling in Toronto. That's how it goes.

I don't see it with our current D and prospects. They'll want to get Sandin offensive looks and Lilj as to see action or move on, even if it's as the 7th D, which likely means another Bogosian/Hutton esque D

I still can't fathom how Dubas thought trading a first for Foligno was a good idea. I seriously can't recall one thing he did to make any kind of impact.

He can't keep up the pace he had but it is what he does in the playoffs that counts. He elevates his game. Other than the dumb suspension he was good and has been good in the playoffs.

In hindsight Foligno deal blew up in Dubss" face.

I feel like we got more out of Boyle and Plekanec in prior one-and-done playoffs and those guys "only" cost 2nd round picks (those were also dumb trades).

Foligno at the two 4ths would have been a waste of assets, but a 1st too? Yuck!
