I think most people's scenarios are Marner for Eichel. Which actually creates less cap problems, as it would be a savings of 893k. Also to your other post, he would definitely not be a 3C haha he would either play with his buddy Matthews as the 1RW, or he would be 2C and the aging Tavares would move to 1LW.

I think Eichel would bring a lot more compete and fire in the playoffs than most or all of our current core 4 has. He has shown that he's willing to play big before. He's never gotten the chance to show if that shines through even more in a playoff environment. I'm not saying I'm for a Marner and Eichel swap. I'm just saying I wouldn't be upset.

I think MGT needs to realize they can't build a team with a flat cap along 4 Forwards tie to 40mil.
Unless those 4 forwards are Mackinnon, McDavid, AM and Kuch.
The Big 4 or Core needs to be broken up bc you can't build a contender unless the team hit gold with their ELCs.

I didn't once say that solves our cap problems. Where did I say that? I said that infact creates LESS of a cap problem. Not everyone is great at math, but you should at least be able to read before you spout off
