Confirmed with Link: Lyubushkin traded to Leafs

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates
Even playing with Rielly he’ll only be getting about 16 min a night. Not top 4 shutdown minute muncher minutes, but it’ll keep players in their proper positions and he’s physical. (93 hits in 31 games with us last time) i assume another move is coming.
Yes recall we swapped him out with Reilly in the playoffs a couple shifts here and there, it will be fine that way, Keefe loves that stuff anyways.

With the snot up front, emergence of the Benoit/Mccabe pair, this is the heaviest team we've ever seen here. Let's see if it makes a difference, because we still have world class skill to burn.
Maybe pair up Lags with Boosh and create two Benny McCabe lines. That could be fun.

This is what they call truculence, right?

It didn't go well in the playoffs last time... it wasn't terrible in regular season.
Every D pair those playoffs were negative when it came to GF and GA. Campbell was also garbage and is pretty much what made us decide not to bring him back. Muzzin and Brodie were on for 9 GA and 8 GF and a 47.1 CF%. Boosh and Rielly 2 GF and 4 GA and 45.8 CF % and Holl and Gio 1 GF and 3 GA and 44.7 CF%. Idk why we trying to paint this as Boosh and Rielly were terrible together when none of our D pairs were really good. Goaltending probably didn't help.

Rielly Lyubushkin
Brodie Lily
Benoit McCabe
Lagesson/Gio

Would still like another 4/5/6 RHD just in case Lily goes down again or Lyubushkin doesn't fit with Rielly anymore.

Was hoping we'd go after him. He's not "the" answer but he'll be a solid bottom pairing RHD or possibly Rielly's partner.

I think the "answer" would look a little something like

Rielly-RHD of the Month (Lyubushkin)
The Answer-Liljegren
Benoit-McCabe
