You get a proven NHL D right hand shot at that for less than 700k which allows for more moves. If they upgrade the D still and he ends up being a 7th D that is good as you have an experienced guy waiting in the wings in case of injury.

Naturally, Rielly has been much better with a good defensive RD. So when we have a good RD with Rielly it's like you have two good defesnmen on the ice. When you pair Rielly with a bad defesnmen, it's like we have 2 bad defesnmen on the ice. The multiplier effect with Rielly is extreme imo, lol.

I don't recall Boosh working with Rielly.

I still maintain that it will be surprising if Treliving doesn't trade the first round pick. I'm sure he has a few things cooking at the moment, and it will probably end up being a trade that no one expects.

Even playing with Rielly he’ll only be getting about 16 min a night. Not top 4 shutdown minute muncher minutes, but it’ll keep players in their proper positions and he’s physical. (93 hits in 31 games with us last time) i assume another move is coming.

Who knows maybe they make a deal in the top 4 that moves out Brodie. People should wait and see what the plan actually is. Even if nothing else happens, this is a deal that makes a lot of sense for us.
