Doughty....

He will never win a Norris until he figures out what a simple wrist shot does for his production.

I love this team, through thick and thin. It wasn't fun to see the Blues score 3 goals in 2:32 tonight in the third period, but that is just the way it goes sometimes.

Let's go get them on Thursday. I will be there, should be hell of a good time! :)

If they lose, do me a favor. Burn the Team LA store down with those awful jerseys. You can't let them win Ron. This is exactly what the white pants want.

Blues fan, you get it man. Id give anything for the Blues to have the success the Kings have had lately.

Anyways came here to say good game. Have a feeling Kings will bounce back at home and return the favor.

They played terrible for long stretches in both the 2012 and 2014 Cup seasons.

I'm not thrilled about it either, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it and say I'm going to take a couple of weeks off. You got to be a fan through thick and thin. And it really isn't that bad, Jesus H. Christ this team is STILL in a playoff spot, even after this loss.

Like I said, this team has earned the time to figure things out.

Their poor play this season has been a bit different than previous seasons though. Before, they just couldn't score. This year, they've been out shot more often, giving up too many goals on the road, and I hate to bring up Kopitar yet again, but, you know.

Well, I missed Willie Mitchell's shootout debut...Panthers beat the Caps in a 20 round shootout, 40 players....

Nick Bjugstad scored in the 20th round of the shootout to lift the Panthers to a 2-1 win at BB&T Center in the longest shootout in NHL history.

BJ's won their 7th straight, 1-0 in OT , good for them, losing 9 players to injuries in Oct and losing grond in the standings, they never gave up.

Maybe the Kings need to find their inner child again...they need to find something this is just sad to watch.

If we're going to make the playoffs, it's going to look like this…

A .500 road trip would've put us 3 points into 3rd place. This road trip had 4 very winnable games, but the loss in Buffalo to me is the worst. You can't lose to them... PERIOD! Getting shutout and playing lackluster hockey most of the game is unexceptable. They lost that game to worst pp team in the league coming in at a whopping 6 pct.

A trade wouldn't make sense right now, its up to the group. They need some life on the ice and I think a younger guy from Manchester would help...

I agree. A trade is permanent. The Kings have all the pieces. They only need a temporary reprieve from someone down in the farm. Inject a little spirit, enthusiasm, and hunger from the kid or kids. It's infectious. It will probably jump start Kopi and Carter or anyone else for that matter.

The Pk hasn't been good, that will get better.

It's obvious though that the PP, is not a coaching issue. It's a player issue.

Good thing Calgary/Vancouver are not winning.

Sutter pretty much threw Quick under the bus. Quick can take it though, guy is mentally tough.

Should be throwing the "makes a better door than a window" Doughty under the bus. Should've thrown the walking mat that was the Kings defense in the 3rd under the bus. Quick had no chance on the 3 goals in 2 and whatever minutes the Blues scored in the 3rd.
Throwing him under the bus is a copout if you ask me. How about throwing the team that played in front of him under the bus? I'm a Sutter fan, but I don't agree with throwing Quick under the bus at all. How about you throw yourself under the bus Darryl, and go back to the lines that were successful last playoffs and sticking with them for more than 1 period?

Voynov thing really ****ed the team this year. And then DL's gong show papa bear reaction made it worse.

Throw in your top center having a career worst year, and there you go. This team, idk, this may be the year this team finally falls off, which is fitting considering how many players they have to let go.

I honestly think he did it, to make the rest of the boy's fired up about it.
