First impressions of sekera?

It's like in the movie Miracle when the Russian coach doesnt know when to pull the goalie. They had total control for 30 seconds, then Jones comes out. WTF was Sutter and the bench doing?

Agreed. Terrible coaching there.

Meh, play poorly all night and you'll lose. Last night was more frustrating.

Poor effort by our scorers and poor play by our defensemen outside of Doughty. Greene, Regehr and Sekera all had real bad games. Sekera at least has an excuse.

Did you watch the game? A good chunk of it was played in the Kings' end of the ice. Besides the goals, the Kings generated two scoring chances. That's it.

I didn't see the Kings crush any Ducks players either, they let the Ducks walk all over them.

Kopi's line just has zero fore-check outside of Brown. Brown has been dragging Kopi/Gabo around for two weeks now.

No need to explain Stoll, he is done. Greene is slow, really slow.

Sekera looked ok, made some mistakes, but he gets a pass right now.

Looked uncomfortable but had his moments. Overshot some passes. Good on the boards like Voynov with positionin and leverage. Just didn't know where to be in our system so stayed in the front of the net which was a problem because it forced Regehr out to the corners. Not a good start but couldn't expect much going up against the Ducks when the whole team was a tire fire much of the night.

Good at straddling the line a la Quincey on the PP.

Need Quick to be on top of his game on Sunday. Jets usually give the kings problems.

They have blown more third period leads this season, then the last two seasons combined.

Not being able to hold onto leads has been a serious problem.

Yup, the ice was tilted for most of the game tonight, but I guess some posters just don't get that.

The tying goal was all on him. He missed the check at the blueline, then lost the man in front of the net.Etem skated right through the crease and scored before meathead even knew what happened. Greene didn't even look behind him .

First two periods? The Kings didn't have a shot in the 2nd until like 10 minutes in. I know the Ducks didn't exactly have a great game either but let's give them a little credit.

I'll say it, Sekera was soft and not very good. He will need an adjustment period.

I don't agree. I think the last 2 periods were pretty bad for us. They didn't score, but they were flying all around us most of the game. Pretty sure they corsied the **** out of us too in that 2nd period but I could be wrong.

Kopi is not getting Kane/Towes money. And Williams is not getting a contract with us.

DL will burst into hysterics when Kopi's agent asks for that type of money. You know Deano is going to pull out his bar graphs, pie charts, line charts and bring up baseball.

That is what I gathered as well. Greene has been really bad since A-Mart went down.

Greene has always been slow, but with A-Mart out Greene is just getting exposed like crazy.
