The damn Bird mascot and the idiot DJ that does ingame promos.Don't you dare say there names LOL
As I've said, he was waived and the team has moved on from him.No Copeland again ???
Nope. Don't want to be crucified for criticising 'kids'.Don't you dare say there names LOL
Still on the roster. Wonder if he's been practicing with the team?As I've said, he was waived and the team has moved on from him.
Hope that's not too critical. All the best to him as he pursues his next opportunity.
It was Michael Simpson that kept the score low and allowed London to win the game in overtime not the defence. He stopped 40 of 42 shots he faced. He probably is the best goaltender in the league. It was not their best defensive night.3-2 in OT, that's why defence wins you games, keep the score low and close it's a lot more easier to get one tier and one winner . It was not their best outing but the 2 points do count.
And it was however their very best pks of this young season for sure
He made a couple of mistakes playing the puck that the Pete’s capitalized on. Once he plays with the defense longer he will know where they will be to dish off the puck. All in all he played a strong game as did Pete’s goalie. It was Michael Simpson that kept the score low and allowed London to win the game in overtime not the defence. Same as Brochu. It’s awesome to have a goalie you can fully rely on. He will keep us in a lot of games this yearIt was Michael Simpson that kept the score low and allowed London to win the game in overtime not the defence. He stopped 40 of 42 shots he faced. If you think about it with only 13 GA in 6 games all that needs to happen is keep up with this defensive game and then increase scoring through development of the forward group. I know Cowan will be doing some great stuffAnd a couple posters were worried about the older Boulton n potential penalty trouble
The staff will handle it if it becomes an issue.
Hung in long enough to make a play or 2. Im guessing there may be someone breakaway practice lol. It happens.
Everyone has known ( since the end of last year ) the team would benefit from a couple Fs to help share the scoring load. The added #12 already. As long as the points keep coming in Mark n staff can take their time.
Sim will help the team when returns IMO but in diffrent ways.
Is this a new record for how early people discuss cards? I'm pretty sure Mark knows what he is doing. I'm sure you can ask him though, I see him around the Bud quite frequently.I don't get signings like this with limited cards
That Dubois kid is a monster on the faceoffs same with Beck so that’s the reason. We may need Cowan to get playing more C. In some ways if we split the twins for a bit and have them each drive a line that could provide more offence and they would both play centerOne thing jumps off the game sheet. Knight's only won 19 of 69 faceoffs with McCue 2/17. Starting with the puck makes things so much easier. Maybe this scorer they're looking for needs to be a center.
You mean good ol sweet Caroline?!Please dump that Neil Diamond song at home games! The under pick might be good for Knights all season.
McCue had his hand on the back of the Petes player’s helmet and drove his face towards the board/glass; just dumb. Was it just me or did anyone else think the 5 minute major call on McCue was excessive? It didn't end up hurting the Knights, but I just thought a minor would have been a sufficient call.
McCue definitely hit him from behind, but there was no injury on the play and looked like a bit of embellishment to me. Like I said, he hit him from behind. But I think once the Petes player felt the hit, he embellished it a bit.
Hopefully there is no suspension.
EDIT: I posted this before looking at the scoresheet, it appears he did get a minor for check from behind and a Match for Att/Deliberate Injury? What else did he do? I didn't see anything else, he threw the hit, then the Petes player dropped his gloves and grabbed him?
Nope, rules didn't change. Still 3 on 3 in OT, last night there was off setting penalties, so when they came out of the box it was 4 on 4 until the next whistle.Watched the first half of the game last night but looked at the highlights this morning. George's OT goal was scored and the teams were 4 on 4 . Did the OHL change the rule for regular season OT since I am sure is was 3 on 3 last season. If the rule did not change, how the heck did they end up 4 on 4. Probably a dumb question but I know someone here will know the answer. Thanks !
After the initial hit?I

That was the ’hit’ as I saw it.Nope, rules didn't change. Still 3 on 3 in OT, last night there was off setting penalties, so when they came out of the box it was 4 on 4 until the next whistle.

I missed that, if he did that. Then I see why he got the Match. Thanks for the insight!
