Was Formenton unofficially banned from the NHL? Does anyone know anything else about this situation?

He was tied to the Hockey Canada sexual assault scandal. I don’t think he will ever play in the show. If the allegations were true, he is lucky he is not in jail.

Unfortunate for sure. I’m just curious why others from that team have been allowed to continue their career in the show and he hasn’t been?

ERIC BOULTON
Ya after reading the piece about Eric Boulton on The Hockey News he was a real tuff costumer. I can see why Mark is signing both of his sons if they are anywhere near of the same mold as dad.
RYDER BOULTON
Now we seen Ryder's play and he is all that, he can skate check hit play both ends shoot make plays and understand the game really well and lately we've seen him in fights. He's most definitely a team man and a great addition
SAWYER BOULTON
The videos circling around about Sawyer is a little different. We can see he's very solid on skate and he can take and dish out hits, other than this we don't see much of him playing the game. itself. We don't know if he can shoot pass play both ends and if he can contribute to the team. My first glance and impression is that he reminds me so much of Max Jones, will the league accept his kind we'll just have to wait and see. I am however really excited that he is the son of Eric and brother of Ryder and if he could be the second coming of Max, "Look Out" !

Wish there was 1 more Boulton kid to sign....we could have had ourselves the making of the Hanson brothers line.

With limited spots already and Cowan back...the signing of Boulton really doesn't make sense to me. Who gets traded??

Agreed Ryder is quite skilled. I’m looking forward to seeing the impact that Sawyer can make on the ice. He’s likely coming in motivated and excited. If he plays tonight I’d wager he makes a few big hits and gets some energy going

I think it’s obvious that others that are playing in the show are not rapists. Most made very public statements of denial, some did not and they are the ones not playing.

There will be a couple more cuts to Bs yet or trades if they are going for one more top six player. I think London are all set in Goals and on defence and are likely one top six player away. They are looking very good this early in the season but the 20 player team must play the full 60 minutes to be successful for a long after season. In my humble opinion ! Cheers !

We should all refrain from naming and criticizing a player that could be of some embarrassment to him. Now if we have praises for a player well ya do name him that would be very encouraging to him or we could be critical of the whole team in general without naming one player that would be fine as well or if we want to chirp at opposing players well that's what fans are for. . The idea here is to not publicly embarrass a local player on your favourite team, perhaps if we are more diplomatic of our criticism that can be well received, unfortunately how many here that are. Cheers !
looked on hockey fights, nothing, not disputing his toughness at all. Just see lots of PIMs, but no evidence
