This should be the result for reasons people mentioned above. What would be expected from a Junior A vs MJ/CHL lineup.

World juniors are only the true best on best, hence why the Canada/USA games are so good/close in that tournament.

The problem with World Juniors or any of the intl tourneys is there's always an excuse. For juniors, it's usually the guys in the show. With that, it's not truly best on best and historical the Olympics is about it for that.

Which is what made the 2005 World Juniors so special.

Like who are you thinking? There’s no other draft eligibles that are good enough. This is a bad year for the Americans top to bottom.
Rombach would definitely help. He'll go somewhere between 25-55 in the draft. Also, Cooper Simpson for sure. More skilled than virtually every player on the NTDP.
